Meh, I think cosmetics don’t sell as good as other valuable Hearthstone product such as packs or tickets, so they had to make sure it can be sold by attaching XP-bonus gainer as the sweetener.

The reason why cosmetics is not popular anymore, because they printed out too many of it. I still remember the time where cosmetic is a rare and valuable thing in the game. People buy it out because it made feel special. Nowadays, everyone got a lot of it, there’s nothing special about it anymore.

Another would be unique voice lines and animation that comes with it. New cosmetics doesn’t have that unique sensations.

I may heard of this somewhere, but both Golden Lady Prestor or King Varian still have drop chances in the packs if you haven’t get them yet. Best scenario is to get both of them,
Lady Prestor by claiming the Lv.1 free track
Diamond King Varian by buying the tavern pass then.

And by doing so, you won’t open them in pack anymore, because Hearthstone will marked it in your collection as already have.

The collections offers no return value, and the cards probably be forgotten in about 2 years or so.
That’s why it’s better to just play Standard free, dust every wild cards to make way to the next one.

Getting Standard pack is good improvements too. I’ve been missing cards from Barrens, and I don’t wanna buy barrens pack anymore. Maybe if they change Tavern Brawl reward into Standard pack, that would be awesome.

But seeing the latest Achievement from Stormwind gonna make me puke. Grinding takes longer and harder. One example is Warlock, redirect 666 damage using Questline Tamsin. That’s hell

No, but there’s a lot of fire spells now, at the cost of not getting a mount card.
Score not changing. Still 2/5 because adding a bunch of fire spells not gonna change the fact that it’s still too hard to finish the quest.
Plus you need more custom made deck if you want to complete questline. (can’t put random spells into it)

Yeah, while Hearthstone doing well so far is a good sign, but no one can predict the future when the ‘main house’ where Hearthstone stayed is burning and in chaos.

Last thing I’m gonna add, the one thing that people are missing in this whole situation is that filing a lawsuit is the last resort. California state will do everything it can to resolve the issues before ever drafting a lawsuit. Blizzard let it get this far is beyond me. And I think it proves that Blizzard was letting the fire burning for as long as 2 years (of investigations).

I do believe I have to say sorry if I pour my heart content here. It’s out of topic really. But I believe everyone deserves an update, and if big changes are coming, it’s for the best.
But right now, they really messed up big time. Period.

I took some time and read all the news regarding the lawsuit. And boy I was shocked. It’s getting worse and worse. And the trend is uprising.

A) Players has started cancelling their WoW subscriptions, the one who subscribe more than 3 months are doing sit-in to demand justice and changes.
B) Gaming news like The Gamer and some other has stopped reviewing all Blizzard games.
C) People has started petition demanding the culprits behind this gets fired and punished.
D) Twitter and Reddit’s still keep getting update with more people start to open up to their past story about their harassment.
And last one I got is,
E) Hundreds of company’s employees have started to speak up condemning their company’s response. And literally not doing any work in current time.

I just really hope this does not making Hearthstone into a fail state with all the conflict within. But I’m a pessimistic person, and I believe that, if a big company can make a mess this big, it will affect everything inside.

Worst case scenario, there won’t be one, and everyone can open all packs together the day after.
