Just hard to say if this will be good. Maybe absolut Meta nxt expansion, maybe not that good.

Warlock has some good control cards and we will see whats in core set.

Maybe everybody who rated this card 1star think that after rotation Quest will be meta in Warlock but nxt expansion Quest Warlock is just dead without that 14 cards which will rotate out. Warlock needs urgently a new archetype and this class is with rogue a potential canditate to be the last one in class tier list.

No, I can´t imagine that this card will be good.

The problem is that this card is a bit to slow and to laborius to get the value out of it, even it´s a 1-drop with good stats and if you dont have this in your starting hand it´s just too less value if drawn.

Also you dont want to dredge in beast/aggro druid.

It´s like the Hunter Frenzy Beast which was also overrated before the expansion came out.

Pretty crazy in every naga/spell combo deck.

Most of the time will be use turn 7 or 8 and then you can do crazy things.

It is really easy to trigger, there are often very cheap spells.

There was this warlock thing where you got 2 mana when your hero take damage, this was just crazy and annoying because every “refresh mana” effect is normally pretty good.

Better than many people think.

Take their Ship! is a mind control option in certain situation to do a tempo swing. Will be used in some cases

Take their Supplies! is pretty good to counter any OTK deck, to get 5 cards is a huge value point.

But overall Take their Gold! will be mostly picked. Its just insane often opponent prepare a synergies gameplay like (cenarion ward plus solar eclipse) and If you steal one of this you just decide the game. You got also so much tempovalue out of it, that this is pretty scary. In the past there was for example renos whip which was a weapon where you could steal a card from hand and this was so broken af.

Overall a good and flexible tempo card, which will see play in every pirate deck. Hope the pirates are good enough in core set and expansion. So that this card can be meta.

I faced him today as rogue and I lost to the otk because i had a snake trap 😀 and made a mistake with my eddy. Generally It is a pretty bad otk.

He duplicated e.t.c with pen flinger and bloodsworn two times then he play Broomstick.

so when he attack with a broomrush minion, etc made 2 damage to face… 2×3=6

Problem you need enough enemy minions to attack and you dont have much control cards.

Now i know the weakness and i can easily react to this combo so you can try but I think in longterm it is not a good meta deck.
