Top Standard Legend Decks From Ashes of Outland – Week 9 – June 2020

Another slow week behind us. Ever since the bigger balance update 3 weeks ago, we didn’t really get any news. I suspect that we’ll hear more soon, since Ashes of Outland solo adventure is due to drop very soon (it was some time mid-June, so next week or the week after). It will probably come together with Midsummer Fire Festival event, because we always get it between 1st and 2nd expansion of the year.

But nothing really happened last week. It might have something to due with the protests all over United States – most of the companies decided to postpone events and announcements because of that.

When it comes to the meta, it also didn’t change too much. No new decks have caught my attention. Tempo DH, Spell Druid, Enrage (or Bomb) Warrior, Highlander Hunter, Quest Warlock, Highlander Mage, Galakrond Priest, Galakrond Rogue… Some combination of those decks is what you usually meet on the ladder. If we ignore the fact that DH took the #1 place again and despite getting nerfed 3 times, the meta is pretty healthy and there is a lot of diversity. You can play different kinds of decks and nearly every class has viable options. Nearly, because Paladin and Shaman still suck. While Pally is playable – Murloc build is okay and Libram is not great, but Legend viable – Shaman is just in a terrible spot. Buffs didn’t really help short-term, and I guess that Shaman fans just have to wait until next expansion. If the class gets a few strong cards it can bounce back. But 7 out of 9 viable classes + extra 1 that is playable is honestly not a bad score, it’s very rare that every class has a lot of representation.

Anyway, we’re eagerly waiting for the solo adventure (keep in mind that it won’t reward any cards, so meta will most likely remain unchanged) and the event, possibly another balance update… and then it’s only a ~month until the next set is announced. In the meantime, enjoy the decks we’ve posted!
