Top Standard Legend Decks From Ashes of Outland – Week 4 – May 2020

It’s been nearly a month since Ashes of Outland has launched – the meta is way more healthy than it was at the beginning, although Demon Hunter is still the class to beat. Or rather, Tempo Demon Hunter is the deck to beat, because no one plays other DH decks. OTK version was still okay before the last nerf patch, but it basically disappeared now.

When it comes to meta shifts, I’m seeing the rise of Egg / Tempo Warrior. The deck was slowly getting more and more popular, but it just exploded over the last few days. The end of last season and the start of new one was full of Egg Warrior – at least at the higher MMR – to the point that some builds are teched in for the mirrors instead of Demon Hunters. Of course, a good Tempo Demon Hunter matchup is the main reason for the deck’s popularity. Tempo DH is still 25-35% of the ladder depending on the ranks, so having it as a good matchup goes a long way.

We’ll see how the meta develops from here, but I’m not expecting any bigger shifts. Of course, the more popular Egg Warrior will get, the less people will play Tempo Demon Hunter. But then people will most likely find a deck that beats Egg Warrior and the cycle will continue.

Below, you will find a full list of the Legend decks from last week, sorted by the highest placement.
