Zetalot looked to be struggling a bit with his standard Control Priest. So he went ahead and switched things up by adding a couple of Injured Kvaldir and Resurrects, which then started to turn things around for him. It’s a pretty cool addition to an already strong deck. You can watch him play the deck here.

Not a really good deck. Standard Control priest does better than this overall as this is slightly inconsistent and can lose matchups standard control priest (with curators) would not, also this deck punishes you harder for having a lot of board presence (since you have so many sweepers, this deck has more board presence than other CPs).
I love zetalot, I am his fan but I dont think this deck is better than standard control priest with curators because it uses more resources.
This, however, is better against Midrange Druid than standard CP, which doesn’t say much because it is still very unfavorable (35-65 for this deck, 30-70/25-75 for standard CP).

Injured Kvaldir makes for a nice early target to heal when Northshire is on the board and you have nothing to attack into. Resurrect is a nice little boost to this deck. I played a few matches with this last night. It does a good job against the meta at ranks 12 through 10 as far as I can tell. The early game can contest the board against all the tempo/zoo/secret pally.

Tried a very similar deck when TGT was released. Resurrect I think is a very strong card. However, I think injured kvalidir is very subpar. You really don’t want this to be something you resurrect.

Its great though to do something like turn 2 coin blademaster, they anwser and then you rez it etc. Obviously even better with circle of healing combos. I’d run a slower build, maybe even using a bunch of board wipes and then only true value drops like IBM, Auchenai, and 5+ cost dudes like sneeds, slyvanas, etc

I keep getting my ass kicked with this deck, doesn’t fit my playstyle.

Does well until rank 10. After that it is non-competitive. Cannot get past it.

He is playing it at around 100-200 legend right now. Maybe try watching his stream for help 🙂

Still trying to understand the logic behind not picking Curators and going for a Resurrect build instead, maybe tempo is the issue but then you become more vulnerable to Control.
Actually, answering my own question, I guess this has tempo generating issues.

      Resurrect doesn’t trigger battlecry.

Also you try to avoid playing low-value minions. Yes Curator can give you a valuable card, but when the 1/2 dies you add that to the pool of minions to resurrect. Which you don’t want.
