Mulligans

General Mulligans

In general, you're going to want to mulligan hard for Prince Liam. Prince Liam will transform your terrible one-drops into amazing legendaries, like Tirion Fordring. Increasing the number of Tirions in your deck is hugely important, and provides a great turn 8 play.

Aggro Mulligans

Against aggro, definitely mulligan for Prince Liam. Prince Liam gives you access to amazing anti-aggro legendaries, like Hogger. A 6/6 taunt on turn 6 is guaranteed to curve you into the late game.

Midrange Mulligans

Against midrange, you definitely want to mulligan for Prince Liam. Being able to contest each of their tempo cards with a good 2/2 taunt from Hogger is insanely good. Not only that, but Hogger comes as a turn 6 play, right after Prince Liam, so you end up getting an 11/11 board on turn 6 for 11 mana. Literally broken.

Combo Mulligans

Against combo, definitely pray.

Control Mulligans

Against control, definitely mulligan Prince Liam. Prince Liam gives you access to amazing value legendaries, like Hogger. A 6/6 taunt on turn 6 is guaranteed to curve you into the late game, providing infinite value.

As the new standard format comes into play, aggro paladin is losing every single one of their good cards. There is absolutely no way that aggro paladin will be viable in the new format. Because of this, paladin needs a new way to win, and Prince Liam is the way to go.
