the question is , is this deck still playable ? or did it die along with undertaker ? http://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/decks/xixos-season-11-ladder-climbing-face-hunter/

It died, you can’t reach viable ranks anymore. And with release of LoE hunter is basically death class

I dont like Clockwork Gnome, i have always the feeling, that it isnt effective while i play on curve. If I use the spare part before turn 5 I usually lose, because there isnt enough bordcontrol and most other decks have so strong boards/singecardsweeps atm, that you need to control the board. And except against Priest and Warrior (Paladin doesnt seem to run many heals atm) the Leper ist always efficient.

I dont think so really, ive tried it for quite some matches (curr rank 4) and have been testing around with leper/clockwork gnomes, and i find myself having so much value out of the spare parts since its not really an aggro deck but rather a mid-range deck. for example, u have a 3/4 undertaker turn for against pala and can stealth it, to play another deathrattle the next turn. or reversing switch the deathlord wich seems to be popular in deathrattle priest atm. or return huffer for leathal. i dont see the 2/4 dmg matter too much tbh.

Ive found the random spare parts to be very beneficial. Freeze, taunt, swap, return, 1 health, 1 attack, stealth. all are really good and synergize very well with deck. The deck has card draw problems and gnomes help a little with that. This is a mid range. Full on Face aggro would have both gnomes.

wouldn’t it be better if instead of clockwork gnome we played leper gnome ?
