This deck is a ton of fun. With evolve stuff there is always some variance, and it has a couple different plans that do all synergize with each other but that arguably makes the deck a little less focused than being all in on one strategy. Because of these things I don’t claim that this deck is top tier by any means, but it is a blast to play, does really cool stuff, can be explosive and has some really neat synergies. I’ve done pretty well with it and have had so much fun I made this account just to share this list.
First plan that is obvious is just getting value on on the cards that make Jade Golems. There is a bunch, at least all the good ones all at different points on the curve with Jade Claws, Jade Spirit, Jade Lightning, Aya Blackpaw, and Jade Chieftain. The more of these you play, the better they get, and they’re almost always a 2 for 1.
Second plan is the evolve plan. This plays well off the Jade plan for two reasons. One, many of the Jade cards make two bodies, and two as the Jade Golems get bigger, their mana cost matches their starting attack and health. So a 6/6 Jade Golem would evolve into a 7 drop minion. Dropping a Doppelgangster followed by Evolve on turn 6 can be back breaking, even more so if you coin it on turn 5. Although to note, don’t play Doppelgangster and expect them to survive your opponents turn as 2/2s, never play them without immediately playing Evolve or Thrall, Deathseer. Thing from Below Is good in any Shaman deck that uses its hero power, but when you play it for cheap or free, and then upgrade it into a 7 drop is excellent.
With these two plans Shudderwock becomes his own win condition. All of the Jade cards are Battlecry, and same with Doppelgangster and Thrall, Deathseer. So if it gets late game and you need a board, that’s a quick way to get a good one.
Bloodlust can also just be it’s own win condition. With all the Jade cards, Doppelgangster, and totems this deck naturally goes wide. So often Bloodlustis the last card played in the game.
Brann Bronzebeard and Murmuring Elemental are the most powerful cards in the deck with all battlecries. Double Jade Golem manufacturing, or playing one into Doppelgangster into Evolve is crazy. Going Brann Bronzebeard or Murmuring Elemental into Thrall, Deathseer or Shudderwock is crazy. But just as with Doppelgangster, never play Brann Bronzebeard and hope he’s still on the board to take advantage of him on your next turn.
