Mulligans
This is an aggro a paladin deck I used to climb to rank 5 in wild. I am currently Legend Rank on the wild ladder.
It only costs 4000 dust in total, so it is not very expensive.
How To Play
The most important card to have in your hand are Righteous Protector, Lost In The Jungle and Haunted Creeper. These are cards you will aim to keep in the mulligan. Most importantly though, always aim to have a one drop.
If you already have a one drop, cards you generally will want to keep in your hand are:
When choosing which cards to keep, it is important to consider what cards would be best to take control of the board against match-ups. Also aim to have a good curve in your starting hand.
Pros:
- The deck will win majority of the time against control match-ups, due to the deathrattles of Haunted Creeper and Nerubian Egg , making it sticky against board clears. Do be aware of Defile as it will be able to clear your creeper without minions sticking on the next turn. Just beware of board clears
- Is cheaper than most decks and able to perform well (less than 4K dust max)
- Can work well against other aggro decks (Tempo Mage, Kingsbane Rogue, Pirate Warrior, Even Shaman) if you get the right hand.
Cons
- Loses out to Odd Rogue. This not the best against Odd Rogue as it’s more consistent and the 2/2 weapon will be able to take out most of your early minions before they can start pilling up on the board.
- Can lose to Odd Paladin. Again just because it is more consistent. The best way to try to beat Odd Paladin is to gain control of the board as fast as you can and hopefully snowball into face damage
- Does not go well against any Jade Druid – Unless you are lucky enough to have a perfect curve and for your opponent to not draw his taunts and armour gain cards (Spreading Plague, Branching Paths, Oaken Summons) then you will most likely lose to this deck. The best way to try to win is to play around board clears and do as much face damage as possible. If you do not start with a good hand, try to play around spreading plague.
Budget:
Obviously, if you do not own Sunkeeper Tarim you can replace him with another Rallying Blade and Call to Arms with Hydrologist..
You can also replace Blessing of Might with other good aggro cards like Piloted Shredder.
If you have the dust, it is possible to replace the deathrattle and other cards with the Pirate package (Patches, Southsea Deckhand, Southsea Captain, Ship’s Cannon etc). Doing this will make the deck more aggressive but less resilient to Control match-ups.
Same can be done with the Mech package.
If you have the card you can also remove a Spellbreaker for Leeroy Jenkins
