Deck Import

This is a deck I made for this tavern brawl as well as my first deck posting here, but I’ve been having much fun and success with this deck I figured I’d share it. I’m sure it’s nowhere near optimal and it is built off my collection so its not perfect.

Basically the idea of the deck is to hero power every turn you can afford it, and equip/use weapons and traps only when you can weave your hero power in as well the same turn. (Example: If I have Glaivezooka on turn two, I wouldn’t equip and use hero power instead. I would wait until turn 4 where I could hero power and attack with Glaivezooka at the same time.)

Play your traps to respond to your opponents threats accordingly. Dart Trap can help kill those pesky mages and priests who hero power from turns 1-6 a little bit quicker. Misdirection can get some more damage on the hero your board is clear and they have 1 big minion, or help keep their minions in check by attack each other. Freezing Trap to stop that single big minion from hitting you. Optimally you’ll want an Eaglehorn Bow equipped when you start using your traps too.

Basically that’s its, just keep hero powering and wait for a chance to finish the opponent, Drop Mountain Giant and Animal Companion whenever you can for more pressure. Ball of Spiders can help get more threats on the board and in your hand as well as help play Mountain Giant if you are low on cards. Arch-Thief Rafaam should be used to get a board of mummies or if you feel extra gutsy, get that 10 random damage to hopefully finish off that low opponent. Alexstrasza is there to slap those Tree of Life druids on the wrists if need be. Flare is also a life saver (or ender)  against those Mages out there.

If I had King Krush, I may consider removing Alexstrasza from the deck for him, and if I had Gladiator's Longbow I would probably find a way to work those in as well, probably removing the ‘s, but I don’t so I didn’t include them in my original list.

That’s it! If at least one person enjoys this deck it will be worth it, and feel free to improve on it! Most of all have fun out there!
