Mulligans

General Mulligans

Cavern Shinyfinder and Swindle are your main tutors in the deck and should always be kept in any matchup. Ticket Master is the best card in the deck for early tempo while also shuffling token generators in for later. If no other draw cards are present in hand, Prize Vendor is a solid keep to help cycle through the deck. If Ticket Master is in hand, you may choose to keep necrium vial for slower matchups or mulligan it away for faster matchups, notably against druid and paladin. While these choices are not true for all matchups, this is a general strategy to keep in mind when learning the deck.

While at first this may seem like a more aggressive focused deck based on the curve, this deck in practice plays out more like a midrange tempo deck. It focuses on using cards such as Ticket Master and Fal’dorei Strider to shuffle token generators into the deck and draw them via cards like Prize Vendor and Swindle. While Beneath the Grounds and Togwaggle’s Scheme may seem like obvious additions at first, they are actually negatively synergistic due to not providing pressure on board. Grand Empress Shek’zara is a nice addition for that final push late game; similar to Myra’s Unstable Element.

This deck was built in about 15 mins and I thoroughly had fun with it. (Currently I am 10-1 with this list)

Edit: Current winrate is about 52%

Replacements for legendaries are as follows:

Brann Bronzebeard: Spirit of the Shark

Tenwu of the Red Smoke: Shadowstep?

Grand Empress Shek’zara: Any minion that draws 2 or more cards immediately (This is important as drawing only 1 card does not provide any potential benefit or resources in hand)

Waxadred is irreplaceable in this deck as it allows you to potentially infinite late game in the event you make it to fatigue. While it does not protect against fatigue damage it does provide board presence while simultaneously preserving resources.

Side Note: Shadow of Death is not mandatory and can be replaced with any cards as needed. However, any deathrattle minions added do affect the value of Necrium Blade and are not recommended.
