General Mulligans

Tempo, draw and key combo cards are necessary almost in all situations, it is more important to mulligan for strong cards that are appearing between runs to keep your winning chances up

The final combo is simple:

Raging Worgen into Inner Rage or Hero Power (or even both of them!) into Charge into Shield of Honor into Rampage. Early on this deck doesn’t even need all of the combo cards cause usually it is more than enough to use Raging Worgen with Charge and Inner Rage or Hero Power. It is important to count Raging Worgen as 4 attack minion when counting for lethal damage.

This deck provides some control/survivability and card draw to get our main combo while deck has more possibilities during the game like using Runic Egg on first turn to follow up with Hero Power and get guaranteed trade on turn 2 with card draw as well as Acolyte of Pain can become a card with great temp after using Hero Power on him. Variability of great cards from Athletic Studies  is really looking great in this deck like you can get another Stonemaul Anchorman that is awesome or there are some cool legendaries with rush that can be found with this card or other minions that greatly help with your tempo early on. Another way to finish your opponents after you had a great tempo is Grommash Hellscream combined with any friendly minion damage. Spiked Arms is a great treasure for this deck overall cause it is a great weapon that also improves any of our combos like quickly finishing Lord Barov or triggering effects of Runic Egg, Acolyte of PainGrommash HellscreamStonemaul Anchorman and increasing damage in our main combo.

Deck winrate:

I did more than 50 runs in total in heroic and normal duels mode. I had two 12 win heroic mode runs in previous expansion and one 12 win normal mode run in current expansion. In my opinion current duels meta is much better for this deck than in previous expansion. Because in previous one I had 5-9 wins (most of all it was 7) almost everytime in both heroic and normal (Really, the only difference between modes is that you can meet random budget-funmade crazy decks in normal, but it is only possible in first 1-3 games, after third game all the decks are the same in both modes. However first fights seems to be easier in normal mode, this deck has the most of its power in fights before second passive treasure having around 90% winrate during all my runs) but during this expansion I’ve got around 7-9 wins for 10 runs and only 2 runs with 5-3 score.

Preferable treasures:

Floor is Lava is amazing. Any card draw treasure helps much as well. Any “Rush” effect treasures are good. Other treasures give much less attention and impact. As active treasures it is better to choose card draw and control ones.

This deck is really flexible. You can change any card except for Raging WorgenCharge and Inner Rage. It is possible to make a tempo or aggro deck out of this leaving only Charge-Worgen finisher. It is a good idea to remove tempo giving cards to get more card draw and control/survivability like switching treasure. Deck isn’t expensive, so if you don’t have Lord Barov just swap it for card draw or control card and go one-turn-kill opponents a turn before you die, watch them dying inside, keep spamming “Hi!” emote and just have fun while earning some gold and packs!
