Deck Import

I could wax poetic about this deck, but just trust me when I say that pulling it off at Rank 5 was one of the most satisfying Hearthstone moments I’ve ever had. That being said, I would never attempt to ladder with it- I came up with it in a moment of divine inspiration as a sort of caricature of all the combo decks in the meta.

The combo is this: either hit Leeroy Jenkins or Ixlid, Fungal Lord with Dreampetal Florist. Play Ixlid, followed by Flobbidinous Floop. (If you were to use Faceless Manipulator, you wouldn’t have enough mana for the combo unless you hit it with the Florist as well.) At this point, you have 3 Ixlids on an otherwise empty board… until you drop Leeroy. With one mana leftover, you play Innervate twice into Savage Roar. Voila! You just dished 34 damage out of hand and left your opponent in a state of bewilderment, admiration and fury.

The combo is actually surprisingly viable with the exception of taunts in your way. Naturalize and Swipe can help with that, as can a board of Spreading Plague Scarab Beetles when you buff them up with Branching Paths or Savage Roar. You have plenty of armor to sustain you and almost too much card draw. Twig of the World Tree is included just to give you that extra little chance of pulling it off.

It bears repeating that this deck is ignorant and very unlikely to win you games, but winning a game with it is just really funny. At least I have chicken.
