Mulligans

General Mulligans

Look to mulligan away Molten Giant and Holy Wrath 100% of the time. Mulligan for early game minions and a couple buff cards. Primarily you want  your all-star Primalfin Champion. It is a judgement call as to whether you want to keep Hemet, Jungle Hunter, but it can lead to a very early burst finish.

WIN  CONDITIONS:

An early idea that incorporates the old Holy Wrath + Molten Giant memery into an aggressive Paladin Buff deck that uses The Last Kaleidosaur  as an alternate win condition.

This 25 Damage Combo is made viable due to the release of Hemet, Jungle Hunter. The idea is to have a very early game push with small minions and buffs to control the board and get at lease 5 face damage in. If/When you find Hemet, you can destroy all remaining cards in your deck to have a decently high percentage to Holy Wrath into a Molten Giant for 25 targeted damage (face is the place).

Alternate win conditions rely on an aggro push to close the game out early as well as utilizing the quest with the 10 Buff Spells (and more when using Primalfin Champion to regain those buffs). Galvadon is your mid-late game powerhouse and he has potential to be a two-turn kill with Windfury/Stealth adaptations. Keep in mind you can still use your buff cards on a windfury‘d Galvadon to push the attack even more than the Adapt limitations.

SYNERGIES & STRATEGIES:

Buff Spells + Following:

Devilsaur Egg  = Sticky Threat

Eydis Darkbane  = Removal/Damage

Primalfin Champion  = Infinite Value & Rapid Quest Completion (The Last Kaleidosaur)

Wickerflame Burnbristle  = Healing & Healthy Taunt

The Divine Shield minions and Devilsaur Egg give some resistance to damage-based board wipes, but this deck has weaknesses in running out of steam.

I’ve intentionally not included much card draw to limit the chances of drawing into early combo pieces as this deck’s combo actually does not want to draw into those until the deck is cleared away.

I am a huge fan of meme decks, and also a fan of winning. I believe while not super competitive or consistent, this deck has multiple ways to close out a game and could be worth giving a shot. Obviously this is not a refined list and I will update it and post my success. Looking forward to trying this April 6th! Let me know if you have suggestions to help refinement.
