Played this deck quite a bit. Wild success.

Though the only thing I feel is kind of shitty is Ice Barrier.

In match ups where I’m winning it’s not necessary, and in match ups when I’m losing that 8 extra HP rarely makes a difference.

I ended up swapping it for Cult Apothecary, which was part of the reason everything ended up being a wild success.

A flat out 14 heal can completely demoralize your opponent into a surrender. But the usual case ends up being about the same as an antique heal bot but with better stats.

If you’re already winning the 4/4 helps apply a bit of extra pressure that can help you win the game 1 turn sooner, and if you’re losing that heal is sometimes strong enough to delay ice block by 1 turn.

I play freeze mage since I started playing HS seriously, and I believe that the actual meta is pretty favourable: jade druid, shamans and rogue/warrior pirate can be easily couonterfeited with freeze mageastonishing board control: they spam creatures, we control them, overvalue them, and set OTK; I can’t understand why tempostorm keep considering it a tier 3 deck.
IMHO, best deck ever in HS and, overall, one of the most difficult ones.

You cycle as much as possible, never attack when opponent has played a secret and has the weapon equiped. Try to play around cat trick and clear his board. At the end burn him down with the spells. If you cycled enough you possibly have drawn all the answers if you didnt you probably gonna lose.

I don’t think i’d try this deck without Alexstrasza. It’s a hard deck to play with all of the cards.

I’ve lost 3 levels playing this deck. I feel like I just die before I get what I need. Maybe it’s because there is only 1 ice barrier, idk. Any help?

Second Ice Barrier or you could try Kobold Geomancer.

That s make me want to ladder with this!
45% winrate against warior is really good!

I thought I would have a really hard time with Warrior using this deck, but I did ok with it. I ran into 7 warrioir decks with it last night on ladder and came away with 3 wins.
I chalk a couple of those losses up to me still learning to play Freeze Mage (used to aggro).
      I’m enjoying the journey, though!

Laughing said at twitter that he could have 45% winrate because of pirate warriors.
