Not as bad as people think. The fact that 1 card can provide +2 spell damage enables some big turns. As someone who has tried to play ancient mage in spell power shaman it will be interesting to try an alternative that doesnt require two minions on the board.

Yet it still dies. A lot. Hard to get OTKs with this, and with it dying to one cost minions, it is a waste of 4 mana. And playing this over ogre magi, is it worth spell damage +2 over one less spell damage and +2/+2?
