Since many cards go in standard, the otherall power level of the cards falls significantly. Thats where the dragons come since they are now some of the most powerful cards if their battlycrys are activated. Malygos warlock saw already some play and also success in the past couple of tournaments (see: mattun or superjj), but with the deck losing dark bomb, I think it should be better to turn it into an full dragon midrange deck then the maly combo variant.
