Mulligans
General Mulligans
Most likely you're going to be tapping on turn two. You can include Harrison Jones in your starting hand if you find yourself up against a Control Warrior.
Aggro Mulligans
Try to bait out as many of your opponents cards as possible before playing this combo. If you are facing and Aggro Shaman then Aldor Peacekeeper is a good keep for Flamewreathed Faceless. If you find that your opponent has taken out too much health and you have no way to clear board, then use you forbidden healing and hope your next draw is good.
N’Zoth Deathrattle Paladin (Standard): General Notes
This is my take on the N’Zoth control Paladin. This list is pretty standard with what you see in most N’Zoth Paladin decks (Cairne Bloodhoof, Sylvanas Windrunner, Tirion Fordring). However, I incorporated a few cards that I think should be in most lists but aren’t (Elise Starseeker and Anubisath Sentinel).
N’Zoth Deathrattle Paladin (Standard): Card Substitutions
- Forbidden Healing: This is a really hard card to replace because of the great healing it provides. Holy Light, Lay on Hands are decent replacements in regards to spells. If you want more minions then Tuskarr Jouster would be a decent addition. You can also include another Deathrattle card, but be careful when adding Deathrattle cards because the point is to get your Cairne Bloodhoof, Sylvanas Windrunner, or Tirion Fording out of N'Zoth the Corrupter Battlecry effect.
- Doomsayer: There really isn’t a great replacement for this card. Another Keeper of Uldaman is a decent substitution.
- Elise Starseeker: Any other Deathrattle card, like Corrupted Healbot or Harvest Golem, works.
- Twilight Summoner: Another Infested Tauren works, you can even replace it with a Stampeding Kodo, which is included in some deck lists.
- Harrison Jones: If you want the destroy weapon effect, then Acidic Swamp Ooze works. If you want the draw effect then Acolyte of Pain suites those needs.
- Cairne Bloodhoof: Another hard card to replace but a another Keeper of Uldamen or Corrupted Healbot can work in place of it.
- Sylvanas Windrunner: Same as Cairne Bloodhoof, but The Black Knight is a great substitution due to the amount of Taunt cards being used.
- Ragnaros, Lightlord: You should really consider crafting this card. If you want the heal factor then Lay on Hands works, or otherwise Keeper of Uldamen or Corrupted Healbot can work in place of it.
- Tirion Fording: There really is no replacement for this card. Get the 1,600 dust and craft it.
- N'Zoth the Corrupter: Okay, on to the next section.
N’Zoth Deathrattle Paladin (Standard): Card Explanations
Here I will talk about why I included some of the cards that I did.
- Elise Starseeker: After you drop your N'Zoth, the Corrupter and your opponent clears board, this cards effect has come in handy and won me a few games. It also has decent stats for a control deck card by itself.
- Infested Tauren: This can help save you from board clears.
- Twilight Summoner: Same as Infested Tauren.
- Aunubisath Sentinel: I find it having a Sylvanas Windrunner effect, in terms that your opponent has to play around it.
- Harrison Jones: I find myself encountering many weapons in the current meta.
- Justicar Trueheart: I find myself tapping sometimes in the late game, and two is always better than one.

Hey great deck. This is obviously very powerfull and fun to play.
For somew reason though, my win ratio is not the best, even though i’m very carefull with my plays.
The N’zoth just doesnt seem enough to win a game versus most of the decks out there.
Any idea of what I could be doing wrong ?
Obviously making the right plays is crucial to this deck, but also knowing what type of deck your opponent is running can help too. If you are playing a Warrior or Warlock you need to be ready for their board clears and expect them. Also, you need to be constantly clearing board until you can drop one of your bigger threats. Sometimes it is best to take that extra damage and allow them to play more of their minions and then clear board.
