– Rogue got good support for Spectral Pillager burst OTK

– most important new card is Foxy Fraud which discounts Pillager or other combo cards, and Swindle  that can draw 3 with Spirit of the Shark

– You should play the stealth Shark before the OTK turn, or on the same turn if you have sufficient mana (if on curve you will not have enough mana, but on turn 8 you can play shark on the same turn with Umbral Skulker

which will provide 6 coins so 6 extra mana to do the OTK,

– You can Shadowstep the fox during OTK turn, each fox battle-cry discounts the Pillager by 4 (fox battle-cry and all other will trigger twice by the Shark), so Fox + Pillager is a 4 mana Play. if you have sufficient mana via coins prefer to bounce the Pillager and not the Fox (for the damage..)  you will need 2 more mana,

– You can spend 1 fox and  “prepare” it with Shadowstep a turn or few earlier to the Combo. so for example If you play on turn 6: (Shark + fox +  Swindle ) you draw 3 cards (Shark doubles the combo effect) for 6 mana,  and you can bounce the shark to your hand for the  OTK turn, it will cost 0 and discount by 4 the Spectral Pillager on next turn.

– Aim to generate 6 coins with 1 battle-cry of Umbral Skulker + Spirit of the Shark

Tenwu of the Red Smoke can bounce the Pillager for additional massive damage (requires 3 mana overall for the extra Pillager bounce, as usual – shadow-step can give another bounce but requires 4 mana, can shadow-step the  Tenwu  instead and bounce with it the Pillager for just 3 mana),

– During the OTK turn You can “spam” Preparation + Swindle for more fuel.

– The secret package is to cycle with Dirty Tricks  and to manage the early game + survival.

The Galakgrond package is to get the coins from Umbral Skulker

If meta is Aggro consider more defensive cards like Evasion  or Cloak of Shadows

On the expense of card draw Elven Minstrel

Pillager
