Is pirate warrior still playable/competitive after fiery war axe nerf

I haven't tested it myself yet, but have seen people climbing with King's Defender in place of FWA. It's slower, but still seems reasonably effective.

Subbed FWA with Mortal strikes. Not bad so far.

FWA is not even in this lineup but agree that cards needs to find away into modern Pirate warrior. I took out -cursed blade hate that card -1 frothing. instead of frothing considering trying to take out a blood sail. In total the deck still has potential 5 weapons with upgrade to 7 so why put cursed in there every time I use it I pay. I dont want to pump that weapon up with anything lol anyone else feel same way?
