Zoo DRUID. YEP.  Zoo DRUID.

Gameplan

I honestly can’t believe that Zoo Druid could actually be a thing. You know what’s even crazier? I wasn’t even forcing bad cards into I the list. I was actually struggling to find open slots for cards. That’s why there are a couple one-ofs. I just couldn’t choose.

To be frank, token Druid might simply be better than this, but this is more of a repetitive face-bash like Druid. Pure rush-the-face, knock-you-out-early kind of deck. And it looks good. Good openers. Great finishers.

Heal Package

The main goal of having the heal package is to have 2 4/4s rushing at enemies by turn 5. The main card used to accomplish this goal is Crystal PowerDreamway Guardians can also accomplish this goal if they get buffed up enough.

You may be asking, “Well how is Druid, an armor class, going to be able to heal?” Well, Druids can certainly damage themselves. That mostly occurs through their hero power. They hit minions, and the minions hit them, and thus Druids become damaged. Crystallizer also deals damage and can be played on the first turn. The heal package really works in tandem with the attack minions, which is why it is supported with cards.

Spirit of the Raptor and Pounce are both excellent cards. Spirit of the Raptor will refill your hand when you attack. Plus, with Magic Carpet, you’ll end up being able to attack with it as a 1/3, which is significantly more powerful than a 0/3. Pounce can be an efficient finisher or a quick way to damage yourself or draw a card. It is incredibly versatile.

Magic Carpet Package

This deck has a plethora of one cost cards. This makes Magic Carpet such an effective card. It’s best synergy is with AcornbearerIt is a one mana card that generates more one mana cards. Talk about value. However, there is one questionable card: Argent Squire. It isn’t horrible, but it doesn’t have a huge purpose other than being a one mana card. It can be replaced with an Mecharoo or Abusive Sergeant.

Other than that, Magic Carpet is extremely efficient at converting well-stated one mana cards into tempo plays. The rushing cards synergize well with the buffs in the deck.

Wrapping It All Up

I think it is safe to conclude that Zoo Druid is top tier and demolishes all other decks. Are you going to sit around and watch Zoo Druid kick you right back to rank 25, or are you going to soar gracefully to rank 1 legend slicing opponents up with Zoo Druid yourself? You have the power to spam this deck on ladder.
