Community Decks of the Week (Standard and WotOG) – April 29th, 2016

We’re a few days into the release of the Whispers of the Old Gods expansion and we’ve seen some interesting decks like N’Zoth Control Paladin and N’Zoth Deathrattle Rogue. We’ve also seen some decks that were a bit more predictable like C’Thun Druid, C’Thun Warrior, Midrange Shaman, and Aggro Shaman. Hunter and Priest seem to be the classes that are still searching for truly solid deck lists, but it’s early and popular decks have emerged weeks after a new release.

If you haven’t already you can Register and create new decks with our Hearthstone Deck Builder.

These decks are chosen based on originality, popularity, and guide construction. Utilization of all aspects of the deck builder, e.g., Featured Image, Deck Description, and Mulligans makes you far more likely to be chosen.

Check out all of the Community’s decks here.

N’Zoth Deathrattle Rogue is a fairly popular list from the Rogue class. This list is a play on that, but includes the very power Reno Jackson as a way to recover your Health after beating yourself senseless with your Hero Power. This deck also uses C’Thun synergy to combine with N’Zoth as potent finishers and game swings. Exidium has also included a detailed guide explaining the deck!

This looks like a list that should be a lot of fun, it includes a card like Shifter Zerus that can be crazy good if your lucky enough!

Malygos Rogue has seen some popularity now and again on the ladder, and it might be a good time for the deck. If the meta is fairly slow then the deck has the time to gather up the resources needed to put together a big damage combo with Emperor Thaurissan and eventually Malygos.

Thanks to Springtail for the submission!

A lot of the strong C'Thun decks have centered around Druid and Warrior, but Mage could also be a sleeper spot for the Old God. Mage has some strong cards and could potentially work with the C’Thun buff minions in a way that produces something interesting!

Thanks to White Shadow for the submission!

Dragon Priest looked like it could be strong before the release of the expansion, but it hasn’t really materialized yet. This deck looks to mix C’Thun and Dragon synergy with Reno Jackson. It looks like a pretty interesting list that could be fined a bit further!
