Community Decks of the Week – January 14th, 2016

The meta is really starting to settle in now, and I can already start to feel the itch for some new content! Ben Brode really was right about Tavern Brawl, however, it does satiate that need a bit and will hopefully help keep things lively while we await the next expansion. I’m also expecting some kind of feature addition in the near future as we usually get a game update between Adventures and Expansions. Deck Slots? New Hero Portraits? We’ll see what Blizzard has in store for us! Well, that’s enough blather, onto the decks!

If you haven’t already you can Register and create new decks with our Hearthstone Deck Builder.

These decks are chosen based on originality, popularity, and guide construction. Utilization of all aspects of the deck builder, e.g., Featured Image, Deck Description, and Mulligans makes you far more likely to be chosen.

Check out all of the Community’s decks here.

Note: These are not all-top tier decks. Some are listed because they have an interesting spin on a standard list, and some are listed just for bringing a unique idea to the table!

I love the deck name “Pet Shop” and I love some Beast synergy. This also takes advantage of the Discover mechanic with double Jeweled Scarab and Tomb Spider. It also adds Stampeding Kodo which might actually be pretty good right now against Priests with Deathlord in them!

Thanks to Gringo for the submission!

Pretty cool Battlecry Shaman list which takes advantage of Rumbling Elemental. Jeweled Scarab finds a place here because of Shaman’s impressive list of 3-mana cards. It has taken Gully all the way up to rank 11!

Thanks to Gally1824 for the submission!

The combo Priest deck has seen an uptick in popularity recently, and LollTroll has written a pretty in-depth guide on the deck that is worth taking a read through!

Thanks to LollTroll for the submission!

This is a unique idea, by taking some of the ideas from Handlock and using them in Shaman. This deck isn’t as reliant on having a full hand, so there’s no Mountain Giant or Twilight Drake, but it does use Eerie Statue as a card that can be taunted.

Thanks to Neo for the submission!

There’s a lot of Renolocks out there, but this one leans far more heavily on the inspire mechanic. It also contains Garrison Commander and Maiden of the Lake which can get a lot more value out of your Hero Power. Frost Giant is a nice addition because when you’re rolling Reno Jackson and the other Hero Power synergy it’s likely that you’ll be jamming down on the Hero Power button a lot!

Thanks to Pommesfee for the submission!
