Voyage to the Sunken City Card Reveal Season Starts… Today! Final Reveals on April 5

Wow, this is actually quite interesting. Usually, there was a gap between the expansion’s announcement and the of card reveal season, but it looks like this time Blizzard is trying a different strategy.

They just announced the first week of card reveal season and it’s… this week! We’ll get another card reveal today, and then a bunch more over the next three days. Given that they also announced that the final reveals will drop on April 5, it means that we’ll get a much longer reveal season than we usually have. Of course, there are still new Standard year / Core Set announcements in between, so we need to take it into account, but it’s still an interesting approach. I wonder how it will turns out.

Update: Here’s a full reveal schedule. It will probably still be updated a couple of times, but at least we know how long the reveal season will be:

Tomorrow will be the Core Set reveal? And also the “Streamers Event”?

Ever since Witchwood, Frozen Throne and perhaps earlier – I longed for an ocean’s themed expansion. After playing Hearthstone, dutifully Wild since Grand Tournament, for 19 expansions my wish finally comes true. The images on these reveals look great.
