New Earthen control Pali is popping up with either this either in the Band or prince variant. Earthen scaling is too slow to survive Ctl Watriors and Portalock. The AOE approach is useless (ditch the old school board clear shit: equality, wild pyro, consecration; Wastful combos with no tempo gain). But use it as tempo board control for turns 3-5 ish. Don’t order in the court until 6 mana. so you can pair with 2-3 cost counters like sketchy stranger, cult Neo, duster, resistance aura, etc. Also fun in wild with prize vendor and cold light oracle.

I’d still rate it like 2.7/5 stars cause it ur right it’s not really a paladin card at all. Pali has never been great at tempo just buffs and sweeps meme plays. This is a rogue card, use a deck tracker and play exclusively tempo like dog till ur earthen’s are a threat rogue arena draft. it’s the only Pali counter to the control/burn meta. Also always craft the 2/2 forge weapon with wind fury to summon 2 cost. This plus dance floor is a life savor. Anyone else seeing potential here?

It depends on how/when you use it for I find they are more affective toward late game especially if you’re a drive is it less than lucky. Best practice though, I found, is adding a Cybertek chip after busting the replicating menace. Refills your hand if you run out to early and even with the RNG there’s constant magnetic scenery so they will be valuable regardless; offsetting card dIsadvantage with more mech bodies on the board. Not to mention the potential for getting this Pali class mechs; Annoy-o-Module + Venomizer for example perfect tempo swing.

As for Rexxar. Fun card; yes, useful for the board clear, but won’t help u get the board back with nothing in your hand. Usually have them around 10 health by turn 7-8 which is about when you will lose the board. In which case your only win condition is probably surging long enough to hero power them to death- works wonders against Mage and Warlock especially.

Finally an aggro deck that isn’t just blow-n-go. Heal Zoo has finesse; way more fun. The only time I lose really is against another Heal Zoo. What’s the best strategy for mirror matches?
