I like the deck however I think it needs some fine tuning. I don’t think Barnes should be in the deck. He’s too inconsistent and there aren’t enough good minions for him to pull out to justify his spot. I’d recommend cutting both Barnes and a copy of Blessing of Kings in favor for two copies of Keeper of Uldaman.

I’d also replace blessing of might with Abusive Sergeant. The more spells you have in the deck, the worse smuggler’s run and Grimstreet Outfitter become. So since Abusive has a relatively similar effect to blessing of might and has synergy with Grimstreet Outfitter and Smuggler’s Run, I’d put him in the deck.

I also don’t think having two divine favors is a good idea. I think you should either have two copies of divine favor or two copies of small time recruits. Not both. I’d probably put in 2 dire wolf alphas to replace the divine favors.

This works with Meanstreet Marshall wonderfully. The new Paladin legendary also comes out the turn after this and a 3/3 divine shield and taunt is a lot better then a 2/2. I wonder if we’re going to see a new midrange paladin deck with this expansion.

Really fun deck! Thanks for the list! Though, I must ask why you don’t include Barnes. The only bad target he can pick up is the Forlorn Stalker. The rest of the minions have powerful deathrattles or synergy with secrets.

Perhaps you should add a second ice barrier in so that you can more reliably survive.

You also might want to add an Elise Starseeker. This deck would be demolished by control warrior, even with Elise you would probably still lose but at least you’d have a chance.

Ethereal Conjurer might be a good idea. He would act as a third cabalist’s tome but one with a body attached. If you do add him in, Brann might also be a good idea. He works with Ethereal Conjurer, Azure Drake and Medivh’s Valet as well.

I would replace Medivh with Alexstrasza. She has a big body and can heal you or deal 15 damage to the opponent. Then you can use your arcane giants and any burst damage the books and tomes might have given you to kill them.

Could Jungle Panther and Mounted Raptor be good replacements for Darnassus Aspirant and Savage Combatant?

Try Doomsayer, Mana Tide Totem and Thing From Below. It’s really annoying and quite effective. Filling the board with Things From Below is so satisfying.

For some reason I always thought it was part of the classic set. If it’s in TGT then yeah, I agree. It should be included in a core set.

I personally want Sir Finley Mrrglton to leave standard, rest of his friends can stay. The card’s perfectly balanced but it feels wrong using another class’s hero power. If you need a different hero power in order for your deck to work, why are you even using that class to begin with?

I think you also should have mentioned The Curator from Karazhan. I personally love the card and it makes deck building more challenging in order to fit it in.

Well by removing these weaker cards, other classes can compete with the holy trinity since they are more likely to draft good cards instead of something like lock and load.

I really hate the portals, do you think swapping them out for Elise and Barnes would be a good choice?

Could Medivh the Guardian fit in this deck? He works pretty well with moonglade portal and nourish and he has large stats so it wouldn’t mess up Y’Sharaaj.

I used an Arcane Golem. Works great in the deck due to the surplus of spells.

I haven’t been using this deck, instead my own, but I really like Prince Malchazzar. Since he places legendary minions into your deck, you don’t have to put that minions, and instead fill it with cheap removal. Punish those fast decks with your plethora of cheap removal, then play Malchazzar’s random legendary minions.
