You can do -1 slam, -1 revenge -1 ravaging ghoul to add
+2 Blood Razor +1 Forge of Souls

has been working good for me

Here are my changes to the deck, I want to get some feedback if it is good or not:

    – 2x Revege

    + 1 Acolyte of Pain

    + 1 Harrison Jones

(I really want more draw so I can get out of sticky situations much more easily and Acolyte is just a great card, and Harrison is amazing for killing a Gorehowl, Medivh, etc.)

I am just unsure of taking out both Revenges is bad. There good at clear, but I do have a lot of AOE with Ghoul, Brawl, and just like Slam and Bash. Do I need the Revenges (for AOE clear) over Draw and just a really strong card: Harrison?

ANY and ALL feedback is HIGHLY appreciated!

    Thanks guys, Jack ๐Ÿ™‚

      I made more changes:

      – 1x Alex

      – 1x Acolyte of Pain

      + 1 Harrison Jones

      + 1 Revenge

My suggestion is Harrison instead of Alex. Works really good in current meta.

I decided to swap out a Revenge and throw in a Harrison Jones.

I think it is good for Medivh and just Warriors in general. Comes in handy. Any changes? Should I remove Alex for a second Acolyte of Pain? Should I take out Alex for the Harrison instead of Revenge? Any response is much appreciated!

This deck works for me after I took out one Tauren and put elise in

Isnt harrison better than gromm against aggro? With gromm, aggro decks r just gonna taunt and ignore it. Sure gromm is gud at trading and serves as a good finisher but is a bit too slow imo and as control warrior,u just wanna survive and clear. With harrison, u get to take out weapons like spirit claws and eaglehorn while drawing into threats AND having s 5 4 body which trades into smthing like a thing from below or fire ele. Any thoughts on these?

hey, what about the hellsceam, is it good to replace it with elise or ysera ?

No, he’s a really good finisher.

but isnt it a control deck ? i mean i need all my spells in the current meta, and for an activate are only 2 slams in

hmm what do you think ?

It is Control, but that doesn’t mean you don’t want a finisher. He also functions as removal that has to be dealt with the following turn. Revenge and Shield Slam are also activators.

If you have a hunter meta, don’t expect to win ever.

I am going to disagree with you, I have a positive win rate against hunters, you have pretty much everything you need against them. Axe, cheap removals, brals, whirlwind effects, you can armor up.

Why Alextrasa in this deck? Why not Chillmaw, Ysera or ร‰lise?

Alex is a very flexible card in this list.
      1. Against aggro, it’s an emergency heal. Use your removals to run them out of resources, tank some damage with your face and carefully manage your life gain/armor up to keep just out of lethal/burst range, then Alex back to 15 when they’ve run out of steam, flipping the table so that you become the aggressor.
      2. Against control, it’s a set-up for lethal burst from an enraged Grom.

I really hate the portals, do you think swapping them out for Elise and Barnes would be a good choice?

      Those seem fine.

    • Shwitz44
      September 13, 2016 at 8:57 am

Why don’t you like the portals? They’re pretty good Shield Slam activators, especially in fatigue-type matchups where you don’t want to use Shield Block because of the draw. Plus they generate a board presence, which can be used for trading or to draw out a removal. Elise is a decent addition, but only has a really noticeable effect against control decks that have transform-type spells (Polymorph, Hex) that can nullify your N’Zoth turn or in the control warrior mirror.

    Hi,

Thanks for taking the time to make the deck guide, as someone who makes nothing but dirt decks, I appreciate it!!

I currently don’t have Justiciar or Alex, both seem pretty key to the build to me, do you think their would be any viable replacements? I’m only a low tier player, so I’m not looking to get to legend, I just want as many fun decks to play as possible and I currently have no control decks what so ever.

I think you’re fine if you are just playing for fun. I’d try a second Acolyte and maybe a Corrupted Healbot.

Can I put elise in this deck by taking out one ironforge portal?

  13. Lowchamp
    September 7, 2016 at 5:55 pm

No elise?! How is this deck supposed to beat the control matchup? (I get that there’s N’zoth but that’s not enough)

    • Highchamp
      September 7, 2016 at 7:50 pm

You can replace carine for elise if you want

    • Shwitz44
      September 13, 2016 at 8:59 am

N’Zoth is sometimes enough, plus a well-timed Sylvanas-Shield Slam suicide to steal a key resource is a big boost. Otherwise Gorehowl for the value game and drag them to fatigue. If your ladder experience is a lot of control matchups, though, the Golden Monkey is a good add.

Portal replacement if I don’t have the adventure yet?

Great deck, lots of solid meta matchups, but would recommend -1 infested tauren & ironforge portal, -2 revenge, +1 acolyte of pain and +2 loat hoarder

I think that’s okay, but obviously Baron is better against stuff like Token Druid.
