I agree but I think we could try some other cards in this deck like Glimmer root or Thoughtsteal. Just thinking outloud here. Im going to try the deck as is to see how it works. Im wondering why Anduin is in there too….???

So far – Im finding that board clears and taunts can be an issue. It needs more card draw too. Im still learning the deck though. I think Im like 4-6 with it overall. A fast start against a slow deck is a sure win but other aggro decks like zoo can be an issue for you. Spell Hunter wrecks it – no way to deal with wolves & Rexxar beasts. Il post an updated list soon. Going to try some new cards.

This might have some potential. Going to take a test drive….. I dont have Myra so I swapped that out for a Sprint.

Ummmm. This deck sucks. Loses hard to anything with removal, spell hunter, taunts, etc. What the hell does it beat? Terrible deck.

Deck just isnt good enough. Loses hard to Hunters, Druids, Big Spell Mage, Odd Warrior and only beats aggro IF you draw Duskbreakers and Pyromancers on time. Its great against paladins, yes but of coure I never que into any of those. Just a weak deck in this meta. Really bad.

Not too sure about this deck. I was trying something close and then tried this one. It loses 100% of the time to Deathrattle hunter, Mecathun priest, Druids, Shudderwock and Odd Warrior. It does OK against paladins and decent against odd rogue IF you draw your board clears that is. So, this deck sucks in this meta right now. Its really weak.

So according to you, this deck has NO bad matchups then – a 100% winrate. excellent. Guess there will be a log jam at legend then. Please. Taunts? No problem. Face decks? No problem, Spell decks? Nah, no problem. Sure, if you get lucky and draw everything you need right on time then amazingly this deck is great. No shiat? What happens when your first 3 cards are Gadgetzan, Sap and some other useless crap? How are you clearing wave after wave of paladin guys? Rogue has NO AOE. Zero. Fan of Knives is useless against divine shield or buffed minions. Ho about the 3/3 taunt wall from Paladin? Go ahead and Sap ONE of them. Great job. C’mon man.

It’s official. This deck is dead. It has one good matchup and that’s it. Good luck with it. If anyone can post a truly updated version that doesn’t auto lose to everything please do. Otherwise, it might have been good 3 seasons ago but it’s terrible now. Tier 4 meme status.

Taunt Druid is brutal if they get Hadronix processed. How are you getting thrught that wal of taunts with just a Sap or maybe two? Im not saying Im great at playing the deck. Im sure not – its not my thing and I find it way too gimmicky. But against multiple taunts…. what exactly is the strategy? Especially against Druids.

I agree with you and have been saying this for a while now. Your best matchups – Paladin and Warlock are NOT very popular on ladder right now so you will simply lose a lot of games right out of the gate. Druids are disgustingly overpowered right now with unlimted armor and all of their other BS. Its amazing they ever lose any games. Even when I pull a well timed Geist it still hardly helps the matchup since they end up with like 35-40 armor. Its just stupid. Oh well, decks come and go and Mind Blast Priest is certainly on the way out. You’ll go on some win streaks here and there which is fun but those are followed by several matchups against stupid druids and whatever other lousy matchups this deck has. Its tier 4, IMO… maybe tier 3 at best with the right matchups. Those are the facts. I hope a different deck emerges that used Anduin soon….

Pretty interesting. im running Oozling and Vanguard too with Keleseth. Terrorscale is a good choice – another deathrattle trigger. I dont run tracking or deadly shot and instead I do run the 1 drop elementals and at least one silence which always seems to come in handy. Are the Faceless manips working for you?

I dont care for the secret package either but I get that it can work too. The deck is pretty felxible with tech and swaps I believe. I just started trying it out so I have a lot of games to play yet. Keep this thread active…. Love to see more builds and variations of this deck.

Fun deck. I tried adding a second 8 drop so theres another target for Vanguard so I inserted Deranged doctor. Ive only played a few games yet so we’ll see. Just nice to have more recruit optins since you do draw them ahead of time and that does hurt. Any other suggestions for interesting substitutions like that? Weapon removal maybe? A second silence?

Sorry but this deck is terrible right now. It was very solid back when more paladins and cubelock were out there but it gets destroyed by everything right now. Good luck. You need god like draws and your opponent has to draw terrible for you to win.

Update. This deck can barely beat paladins now since they are “onto” it as well. They run cards that deal with your minions better and aren’t falling for the shenanigans anymore. This deck is purely terrible right now. It loses to just about everything currently on ladder. It was solid at one point but that time has passed. It needs a total rework or just play something else. Like to see an updated deck list that’s ACTUALLY working if anyone has one.

Thanks for posting what I’ve also been finding when playing this deck but I get blasted for stating facts! The Meta has changed a LOT since a season or two ago when this deck was much stronger. As Tharid correctly pointed out, this decks two best matchups, Aggro Paladin and cube are not being played nearly as much anymore so your “easy” climb has been halted big time. Now, it’s druids, hunters, miracle rogue, quest warrior and different versions of frost Lich Jaina decks which destroy mind blast priest most of the time. Those art the facts. Now, you can try some different tech options which might help but I’m finding that 3/4 of my matchups on ladder right now between ranks 10-15 are NOT favored at all. Can’t “skill” your way out of horrible matchups. Just saying. Good luck though, if you find some new tech cards and they help, let me know. I enjoy the deck but it’s getting frustrating when you just que into one terrible matchup after another.

How do you figure? There are simply decks that that miracle rogue can’t deal with. That’s how HS works. Deck A beats deck B but not deck C. And so on. Sure, you can get lucky with a great run of matchups and draws but not everyone is blessed with such favor. It’s fine. This game has become quite the casino. Roll the dice, best of luck. Those are the facts. Again, no big deal.

Correct – fun but terribly outmatched by lots of decks. You cant win with this deck against most of the meta right now. No one is falling for any of the gimmicks. One tuant and Leeroy is shut down. Then what? You lose, thats what. Taunt druid, quest warrior, Face Mage, Shudderwock Shaman, Spell Hunter, and some other decks beat this deck all day. Play it for FUN, dont play it to climb.
