I don’t play standard, usually hover around 1k legend at the end of season for wild. I had like 3 star bonus so wanted to bump it up to play some standard in the new expac, and only ended up getting x7 in standard during last night reset which means my mmr didn’t go above normal, really weird (since x7 I believe is normal for finishing plat 4ish).

MTG is also an IRL card game at the premise. When a card gets banned IRL you still have the card and can play it with friends. When a card gets banned in a digital only card game, you can do nothing with it, it’s like it doesn’t exist.

Can you complete achievements when playing with friends or does it have to be on ladder?

Schedule on GM website has only 2 matches in asia and 2 in eu scheduled for tomorrow. Is this a mistake or will there actually only be two matches per region?

I don’t know why but it’s not letting me reply to your response to me, but ye makes sense. Obviously investing in any theorycraft can get you burned, appreciate the disclaimer for newer players.

I don’t want to be rude but it would prob be a good idea to have both. Newer players may not realize this is the case and invest in some of these decks.

Don’t craft/dust anything yet as the meta hasn’t really been defined. I would recommend waiting at least a week or two before committing to something too hard. For shuderwock specifically, some of the variants are turning out to play slower than expected. Generally, a heavy control variants of shaman seem to be effective. There are some more aggressive decks like Tempo Rogue and Zoo that seem to be back on the rise as well (with aggro paladin staying really good). Also let’s not forget about cubelock. Anyway, there is too much variance right now and only time will be able to tell what decks stay on top. As I said, I personally recommend you wait for a while.

Not sure if Witchwood imp and mad hatter are the best choices here. I feel like a second fungalmancer would be better than mad hatter if anything else. But overall, this deck, and zoo in general, is looking great.
