Far Watch Post is far less fun than the others- it is effectually a 2 mana 2/4 taunt (3 mana value stats), PLUS an effect that functions as “make this harder to remove”. The effect would not be so devastating as a 5 or 6 cost minion, even with higher stats. A 1 mana difference is a lot more impactful at turn 2 than turn 7.

Starting to think the DH “synergy” for deathrattle is just putting more mediocre stats in play endlessly…. coupled with their card draw it has potential, but it will be SO boring to play against

i assumed as much. just wishful thinking. will that also be true for changed cards (Tracking in Hunter, for example)?

Do we know if we will be getting “Watchpost” cards in the following expacs? Seems possible, since the next one will be alliance themed and then a Alliance/Horde combat expac for the third. 2 more watchposts with a synergy card next expac, and then 2 watchposts and a synergy card in the third expac? suddenly this archetype is incredibly reliable and consistent- and what a fantastic flavor that is

Do we have any word on if the Core cards that are reprints of other cards will be usable in both versions in Wild? i.e. could someone, say, Ping mage, have 4 copies of Fallen Hero- 2 from TGT and 2 from Core 2021? Or could a Meme Pally have 2 Tirions- 1 from Classic and 1 from Core 2021?

AND that doesn’t mean it will be played. An archetype not working is different than a card not being broken.

Don’t believe me? 9 mana (Krush’s kost) for 8 damage + 1 from HP ping. “but what if there’s a taunt!” I hear you say- this doesn’t care. It has rush on an 8/8 body, and very few taunts have more than 8 health, certainly not 8/8s themselves. So it hits the taunt, then Illidan goes face and this follows. It’s a 9 cost 8/8 with rush with the battlecry “deal 8 damage to an enemy of your choice”. Brooooooken.
