Top Standard & Wild Legend Decks – Scholomance Academy Week 13 – November 2020

November is here, and it’s getting closer and closer to the new expansion’s launch! Unexpectedly, it comes out ~3 weeks earlier than usually, dropping on November 17. Of course, the next 2 weeks will also be busy – reveal season starts on Tuesday (November 3), then we have a new progression system & Duels early access available to everyone on November 12, between that and the expansion’s launch we’ll also drop our usual series of theorycrafts. Hopefully our Duels deck builder will also be finished around that time. And, of course, we’ll keep posting the best deck lists from pros & streamers after launch. So expect to see

But back to the current time. A new season has just started, but given how stale the meta has been lately, not much has happened. For a moment, the introduction of Silas Darkmoon has prompted players to try it out in different builds, but in the end the card has ended up being quite weak. OTK Warrior – the most popular build including it – isn’t better than regular Control Warrior (the only real upside is the matchup vs Control Priest, every other popular matchup suffers). People have also put it in Libram Paladin with varied results – some like it, but most of the builds don’t run it. Another change would be… Well, Galakrond Rogue got a bit more popular – the deck was missing throughout nearly the entire expansion, but it’s been getting more attention lately again.

Since I really don’t expect a balance update right before the next expansion (although I said the same thing last time and we had one, so I don’t know, hahah), we will probably have to wait a little bit over 2 weeks for the next expansion. That said, I expect some Battlegrounds balance changes, because the meta isn’t very healthy there, so they MIGHT sneak in one or two Constructed changes if they feel that some of the cards will work too well with the ones released in Darkmoon. There’s a patch coming on November 12 (it will add the progression system and such), so that would be my guess.

Below, you will find a full list of the Legend decks from last week, sorted by the highest placement.

Can’t wait what they have in store for Warrior this month.
Will control deck make a comeback?
Will there be dual class again? (or maybe the mini set?)
Kinda hope they would, since we haven’t see a lot of other dual class.
Will they support Shaman cards after 2 expansion staying in the gutter?

It’s kinda get boring facing Hunter in ranked for the 12th time one after another. (yep I counted it).

At least the hunter matchups are quick, one way or the other, control priest has been sooo annoying. Average matchup is 30 mins, can’t wait to some of their core cards rotate out.
