After Year of the Dragon announcements, it’s time for the new expansion announcement. So far, Blizzard has been dropping some hints (in a form of teasers – “The Fortune Teller” and “The King”), but we expect an actual announcement to happen within a week or so. As you can probably imagine, late expansion meta is not very exciting. Players have already figured out the best decks, the meta is nearly solved, but we still have a few attempting to play something more outside the box. Next expansion is bound to release in roughly a month, and that will shake things up massively – remember that it’s not only the new expansion, but also an entire Standard rotation (2016 expansions all rotate out).
