Shop Update: Mini-Set, New & Returning Skins, Battlegrounds Cosmetic Bundle, Standard Pack Bundles, Tavern Ticket Bundles

Another shop update dropped today! Patch 29.4 was just released, and like most of the major patches, it also came with a big shop refresh. You can now buy the new mini-set (in normal and golden versions), either for Gold or real money. We also have some new skins (including a really cool Arfus Death Knight skin) and a bunch of returning ones. Even Battlegrounds got some new cosmetics. Anyway, here are all of the new items that are available this week:

  • Dr. Boom’s Incredible Inventions Mini-Set (2000 Gold or $15) – A new mini-set with 38 unique cards in their normal versions. You can find a full list of cards here.
  • Dr. Boom’s Incredible Inventions Golden Mini-Set (10,000 Gold or $70) – A new mini-set with 38 unique cards in their Golden versions + a diamond version of Puppetmaster Dorian. You can find a full list of cards here.
  • Arfus Bundle (1500 Runestones or $15) – New Tier 1 Death Knight skin + related card back + 5 Death Knight card packs.
  • Cat Hedanis Bundle (1000 Runestones or $10) – New Tier 2 Priest skin + 5 Priest card packs.
  • House of Rituals Gul’dan (1000 Gold or $7) – Returning Tier 2 Warlock skin. Originally available from the shop in September 2021.
  • Forge-wrought Garrosh (1000 Gold or $7) – Returning Tier 2 Warrior skin. Originally available from the shop in November 2021.
  • Garden Party Valeera (1000 Gold or $7) – Returning Tier 2 Rogue skin. Originally available from the shop in March 2022.
  • Apprentice Jaina (1000 Gold or $7) – Returning Tier 2 Mage skin. Originally available from the Madness at the Darkmoon Faire paid rewards track (Tavern Pass).
  • Fairy Tale Friends Battlegrounds Bundle (2000 Runestones or $20) – New Battlegrounds bundle containing an Epic Bartender, 5 Epic Hero Skins, and 1 Rare Hero skin.
  • Standard Bundle (2000 Runestones or $20) – 20 Standard Card Packs + 2 Random Standard Legendary cards.
  • Golden Standard Bundle (5000 Runestones or $50) – 10 Golden Standard Packs + 2 Random Golden Standard Legendary cards.
  • Mini Golden Standard Bundle (2500 Runestones or $25) – 5 Golden Standard Packs + 1 Random Golden Standard Legendary card.
  • Tavern Ticket Bundle (2000 Runestones or $20) – 11 Tavern Tickets (you can use them to start a new Arena run).
  • Tavern Ticket Mega Bundle (4000 Runestones or $40) – 25 Tavern Tickets (you can use them to start a new Arena run).

Tier 1 skins are “premium” ones while Tier 2 are more basic. In general, Tier 1 skins tend to include more extra features like completely new emotes, Hero Power animations, and some extra visual effects. Some of those might be also included in Tier 2 skins, but usually only 1 of those special features is present (if any). It’s not an official classification – it’s just something we use to differentiate between more basic and premium skins! Blizzard has added their own “rarities” for Battlegrounds skins, but they haven’t done it so far for Constructed (the only one is Legendary with 3D animated portraits).

New items usually stay in the shop for around 1-2 weeks – sometimes it’s longer (3 or more weeks) but I wouldn’t universally count on that, so if you’re interested in one of them, get them soon.

At least we get 2 legends again with the 20packs bundles.

Last time they offered only one, and I declined

A new/free Thunder King skin is also available from the in-game event starting next week.
In addition, Rabbit Faelin and Squirrel Alleria are also new constructed skins (though purchase seems to start next week).

Yeah, I’ve seen them, but I’m only posting what’s currently available in the shop in those updates 🙂
