Shop Update: New Constructed & Battlegrounds Cosmetics (Including Legendary Warlock Skin) + Pack Bundles

Update: It looks like I missed two returning skins – Scholomance Tamsin for Constructed and Yetitamer Brann for Battlegrounds. I’ve added them to the post now!

It’s Tuesday, so it’s time for another shop update! It’s a bigger one since we just had a major patch (26.6). You can find full patch notes here if you’re interested. As for the items offered, we have a pretty nice spread of Constructed & Battlegrounds cosmetic, as well as some card pack bundles. Those pack bundles in particular offer a really solid price-to-content ratio – 60 packs and 2 Legendaries for $40. The catch is that the cards are from Year of the Phoenix which is out of Standard already, so it’s only useful in Wild and the new Twist format. So if you don’t play those, the bundle is useless. The bundles are ranked, but I have no info on rank 2 yet. Also, the “+20% value!” is back. And I still don’t like it. At least the new Rafaam skin is the first Legendary skin I would actually want to have. It’s still a bit weird, but it doesn’t look as out of place in Hearthstone as the previous one did. Here are all of the new items that are available this week:

  • Rafaam Legendary Bundle (2500 Runestones or $25) – New Legendary Warlock skin + 5x Warlock Card Pack.
  • Frostflame Varden Bundle (1000 Runestones or $10) – New Tier 2 Mage skin + 5x Mage Card Pack.
  • Scholomance Tamsin (1000 Gold or $7) – Returning Tier 2 Warlock skin. Originally available from the United in Stormwind Tavern Pass.
  • Fire Festival Battlegrounds Mega Bundle (2500 Runestones or $25) – Big Battlegrounds bundle with 5x Epic Hero Skin, 5x Epic Emote, an Epic Board, and a Legendary Strike.
  • Lilian Singh Bartender (1200 Runestones or $12) – A first-ever Epic (animated) Battlegrounds Bartender.
  • Yetitimer Brann (100 Runestones or $1) – Returning Rare Battlegrounds Hero skin. Originally available from the Fractured in Alterac Valley Tavern Pass.
  • Phoenix Rising Bundle (4000 Runestones or $40) – 30x Year of the Phoenix Card Pack + 10x Forged in the Barrens Card Pack + 10x United in Stormwind Card Pack + 10x Fractured in Alterac Valley Card Pack + 2x Random Legendary Card (one Standard, one Year of the Phoenix).
  • Golden Phoenix Bundle (4000 Runestones or $40) – 15x Golden Year of the Phoenix Card Pack + a Random Golden Year of the Phoenix Legendary.

Tier 1 skins are “premium” ones while Tier 2 are more basic. In general, Tier 1 skins tend to include more extra features like completely new emotes, Hero Power animations, and some extra visual effects. Some of those might be also included in Tier 2 skins, but usually only 1 of those special features is present (if any). It’s not an official classification – it’s just something we use to differentiate between more basic and premium skins!

New items usually stay in the shop for around 2-3 weeks – sometimes it’s longer (4 or more weeks) and very rarely it’s shorter (a week).

Thank you, they might have not appeared for me because I already own them. I usually log in on my alt account with no cosmetics to check it, but yesterday was really busy and I forgot. I’ll update the post soon.

Yeah np. But I noticed just now there is another skin in the shop – Warden Vanndar. I’m 100% sure he wasn’t in the shop on Tuesday, but maybe he was added on Thursday? I didn’t find any info about it(
