Another shop update dropped… yesterday! Yes, I know, I’m late again, but this time only by a single day. I focused most of my attention to the wonderful King Krush pet… with an awful pricing and acquisition system that reminds me of the worst mobile gaming tactics. Yeah. I would be genuinely excited for the pets because they look really cool, but it’s hard to get excited if you have to pay $158 to get it. But that’s not the topic of this post – I’m here to share the new shop offers. Yesterday we had a pretty small shop update, with three returning Hero skins as well as two Signature Bundles available. One of the Hero Skins is from the Battlegrounds game mode – I’m going to classify those as “returning” from now on, since they were technically already in the game and they are available for Gold right away (like most of the other returning skins). Anyway, here are all of the new items that are available this week:
- Ner’zhul Bundle (2000 Runestones or $20) – Returning Diamond Shaman skin + 3 Shaman card packs + 2 Golden Standard card packs. Originally available from a shop bundle in April 2024.
- Hedanis Hero Set (1500 Gold or $10) – Returning Tier 1 Priest skin + related card back. Originally available from the Festival of Legends pre-purchase bundle.
- Treason Tamsin (1000 Gold or $7) – “Returning” Tier 2 Warlock skin. Originally available in the Battlegrounds game mode.
- Signature Into the Emerald Dream Bundle (2500 Runestones or $25) – Random Signature Legendary card from Emerald Dream + 7 Emerald Dream card packs.
- Golden Signature Into the Emerald Dream Bundle (5000 Runestones or $50) – 2 Random Signature Legendary cards from Emerald Dream + 5 Golden Emerald Dream card packs.
Tier 1 skins are “premium” ones while Tier 2 are more basic. In general, Tier 1 skins tend to include more extra features like completely new emotes, Hero Power animations, unique Hero tray, or some extra visual effects. Some of those might also be included in Tier 2 skins, but usually only 1 of those special features is present (if any). It’s not an official classification – it’s just something we use to differentiate between more basic and premium skins! Blizzard has added their own “rarities” for Battlegrounds skins, but they haven’t done it so far for Constructed (other than Diamond & Legendary Heroes).
New items usually stay in the shop for around 1-2 weeks – sometimes it’s longer (3 or more weeks) but I wouldn’t universally count on that, so if you’re interested in one of them, get them soon.
