Another shop update dropped… some time ago! Sorry for not staying on top of the shop updates, but the reveal season and some real life stuff have kept me busy over the last couple of weeks. We had two shop updates I think – one happened last Tuesday and one this Tuesday. They’ve both been small, but we have some new and returning skins. The latter are leaving soon, so if you want to grab them, do it quickly. Anyway, here are all of the new items that are available this week:
- Lord Ahune Bundle (1500 Runestones or $15) – New Tier 1 Shaman skin + related card back + 5 Shaman card packs.
- Felburn Hakkar Bundle (1000 Runestones or $10) – New Tier 2 Hunter skin + 5 Hunter card packs.
- Holy Fire Tirion Bundle (1000 Runestones or $10) – New Tier 2 Paladin skin + 5 Paladin card packs.
- Lady Katrana Prestor Hero Set (1500 Gold or $10) – Returning Tier 1 Mage skin + related card back. Originally available from the United in Stormwind pre-purchase bundle.
- Frostbringer Arthas (1000 Gold or $7) – Returning Tier 2 Death Knight skin. Originally available from a shop bundle in August 2023.
Tier 1 skins are “premium” ones while Tier 2 are more basic. In general, Tier 1 skins tend to include more extra features like completely new emotes, Hero Power animations, unique Hero tray, or some extra visual effects. Some of those might also be included in Tier 2 skins, but usually only 1 of those special features is present (if any). It’s not an official classification – it’s just something we use to differentiate between more basic and premium skins! Blizzard has added their own “rarities” for Battlegrounds skins, but they haven’t done it so far for Constructed (other than Diamond & Legendary Heroes).
New items usually stay in the shop for around 1-2 weeks – sometimes it’s longer (3 or more weeks) but I wouldn’t universally count on that, so if you’re interested in one of them, get them soon.
