Another shop update dropped today! As usual with expansion announcements, it’s a pretty big update. We have new expansion pre-order, a free card in the shop (Blob of Tar), new skins, Signature/Diamons cards, and so on. Notably, we have the first new Battlegrounds bundle in a long time. I don’t remember the last time we had anything for that mode other than Season Pass. Oh, and there are some really nice offers on Tavern Tickets if you’re interested in the revamped Arena. Anyway, here are all of the new items that are available this week:
- Blob of Tar (Free) – Claim two free copies of Blob of Tar (the card is from the upcoming expansion but you can play it now).
- The Lost City of Un’Goro Mega Pre-Purchase Bundle (8000 Runestones or $80) – 80 Un’Goro card packs + 10 Golden Un’Goro card packs + 1 random Signature Legendary from the expansion + 1 random Golden Legendary from the expansion + 4 Tavern Tickets + Spiritsingert Umbra Warlock Hero Skin + Umbra Card Back.
- TThe Lost City of Un’Goro Pre-Purchase Bundle (5000 Runestones or $50) – 60 Un’Goro card packs + 2 random Legendary cards from the expansion + Umbra Card Back.
- Diamond Wrathion Bundle (2500 Runestones or $25) – New Diamond Warrior skin + 3 Warrior card packs + 2 Golden Standard card packs.
- Frostbow Vanessa Bundle (1000 Runestones or $10) – New Tier 2 Rogue skin + 5 Rogue card packs.
- Iceblade Hamuul Bundle (1000 Runestones or $10) – New Tier 2 Druid skin + 5 Druid card packs.
- Embrace the Dream Bundle (2500 Runestones or $25) – Signature versions of Aegis of Light and Moonwell (two copies of each).
- Embrace the Nightmare Bundle (6000 Runestones or $60) – Diamond versions of Alara'shi and Renferal, the Malignant.
- Random Great Dark Beyond Signature Legendary (5000 Gold or $30) – Random Signature Legendary card from The Great Dark Beyond expansion.
- Random Signature Perils in Paradise Legendary (5000 Gold or $30) – Random Signature Legendary card from the Perils in Paradise expansion.
- Re-Enter the Arena Bundle (2000 Runestones or $20) – 11 Tavern Tickets (you can use them to start a new Arena run).
- Tavern Ticket Omega Bundle (4000 Runestones or $40) – 25 Tavern Tickets (you can use them to start a new Arena run).
- Queen’s Corrupted Spirits Battlegrounds Bundle (1500 Runestones or $15) – 1 Epic Strike, 1 Epic Skin, 2 Rare Skins and 2 Rare Emotes for Battlegrounds.
Tier 1 skins are “premium” ones while Tier 2 are more basic. In general, Tier 1 skins tend to include more extra features like completely new emotes, Hero Power animations, unique Hero tray, or some extra visual effects. Some of those might also be included in Tier 2 skins, but usually only 1 of those special features is present (if any). It’s not an official classification – it’s just something we use to differentiate between more basic and premium skins! Blizzard has added their own “rarities” for Battlegrounds skins, but they haven’t done it so far for Constructed (other than Diamond & Legendary Heroes).
New items usually stay in the shop for around 1-2 weeks – sometimes it’s longer (3 or more weeks) but I wouldn’t universally count on that, so if you’re interested in one of them, get them soon.
