Shop Update: Returning Constructed Hero Skins, Eight New Signature Card Bundles

Today we just had another shop update! Technically we also had one last week but I missed it (I was still in the middle of my Christmas break). I won’t include all of the items from the last update, but I will add one that might be the most controversial of them all (Legendary skin). This update has some returning cosmetics, but it mostly focused on new “Signature Bundles”. We have two bundles for each of the last 4 expansions, for 8 bundles in total. That’s a lot and I don’t think that many players will be interested in getting all of them. But they, as hard as it is to say, are the best way to get the Signature cards from a given expansion. I wish that you could at least pick the Signature you get with how expensive those are instead of getting a random one. Here are all of the new items that are available this week:

  • Arthas Menethil Legendary Bundle (2500 Runestones or $25) – Returning Legendary Death Knight skin. Do note that it is available for purchase all the time (from your collection screen), just not with the free card packs. So if you want to buy it, it’s best to get it now.
  • Infernal Armor Illidan Hero Set (1500 Gold or $10) – Returning Tier 1 Demon Hunter skin. Originally available from a bundle in November 2021.
  • Shadowmoon Gul’dan (1000 Gold or $7) – Returning Tier 2 Warlock skin. Originally available from a bundle in July 2021. Last time it came back to the shop was in May 2022.
  • Holy Leviathan Anduin (1000 Gold or $7) – Returning Tier 2 Priest skin. Originally available from a bundle in November 2021.
  • Golden Badlands Signature Bundle (6000 Runestones or $60) – 2 Random Signature Showdown in the Badlands Cards + 10 Golden Showdown in the Badlands Card Packs.
  • Badlands Signature Bundle (3500 Runestones or $35) – 1 Random Signature Showdown in the Badlands Card + 1 Random Golden Showdown in the Badlands Card + 5 Showdown in the Badlands Card Packs.
  • Golden TITANS Signature Bundle (6000 Runestones or $60) – 2 Random Signature TITANS Cards + 10 Golden TITANS Card Packs.
  • TITANS Signature Bundle (3500 Runestones or $35) – 1 Random Signature TITANS Card + 1 Random Golden TITANS Card + 5 TITANS Card Packs.
  • Golden Festival of Legends Signature Bundle (6000 Runestones or $60) – 2 Random Signature Festival of Legends Cards + 10 Golden Festival of Legends Card Packs.
  • Festival of Legends Signature Bundle (3500 Runestones or $35) – 1 Random Signature Festival of Legends Card + 1 Random Golden Festival of Legends Card + 5 Festival of Legends Card Packs.
  • Golden March of the Lich King Signature Bundle (6000 Runestones or $60) – 2 Random Signature March of the Lich King Cards + 10 Golden March of the Lich King Card Packs.
  • March of the Lich King Signature Bundle (3500 Runestones or $35) – 1 Random Signature March of the Lich King Card + 1 Random Golden March of the Lich King Card + 5 March of the Lich King Card Packs.

Tier 1 skins are “premium” ones while Tier 2 are more basic. In general, Tier 1 skins tend to include more extra features like completely new emotes, Hero Power animations, and some extra visual effects. Some of those might be also included in Tier 2 skins, but usually only 1 of those special features is present (if any). It’s not an official classification – it’s just something we use to differentiate between more basic and premium skins! Blizzard has added their own “rarities” for Battlegrounds skins, but they haven’t done it so far for Constructed (the only one is Legendary with 3D animated portraits).

New items usually stay in the shop for around 2-3 weeks – sometimes it’s longer (4 or more weeks) and very rarely it’s shorter (a week).
