Shop Update: Store Rework, New & Returning Constructed Skins, Battlegrounds Season Pass & Cosmetics

Today we just had another shop update! Not only we have a bunch of new and returning items, but the whole shop got a rework in Patch 28.2. It’s now divided in categories and subcategories, you can preview individual items from a bundle and skin voice lines, and everything should work smoother. Personally I like the update, but I’ll need to get used to how it looks. As for the new stuff – since Battlegrounds Season 6 has just started, players can now buy a new Season Pass. We also have two new thematic Battlegrounds skins. As for Constructed, there’s a bunch of new and returning skins. The shop also has A LOT of card pack bundles, but they are all just generic “X card packs + Y Legendary cards from Z expansion”. I think they added them just to fill the shop – I wonder if they will be rotating out or just staying there. Here are all of the new items that are available this week:

  • Lord Godfrey Bundle (1500 Runestones or $15) – New Tier 1 Warlock skin + Lord Godfrey Card Back + 5 Warlock Card Packs.
  • Outlaw Sylvanas Bundle (1000 Runestones or $10) – New Tier 2 Hunter skin + 5 Hunter Card Packs.
  • Deputy Liadrin Bundle (1000 Runestones or $10) – New Tier 2 Paladin skin + 5 Paladin Card Packs.
  • Poisonheart Maiev (1000 Gold or $7) – Returning Tier 2 Rogue skin. Originally available from a shop bundle in November 2022.
  • Murragnaros (1000 Gold or $7) – Returning Tier 2 Shaman skin. Originally available from a shop bundle in May 2022.
  • Battlegrounds Season 6 Pass (1500 Runestones or $15) – New Battlegrounds Season Pass. It includes being able to pick from 4 Heroes instead of 2 at the start of each match + lots of premium cosmetics you can unlock through the Rewards Track.
  • Kingpin Denathrius (300 Runestones or $3) – New Battlegrounds Legendary Hero skin for Denathrius.
  • Old Town Jailer (200 Runestones or $2) – New Battlegrounds Epic Hero skin for The Jailer.

Tier 1 skins are “premium” ones while Tier 2 are more basic. In general, Tier 1 skins tend to include more extra features like completely new emotes, Hero Power animations, and some extra visual effects. Some of those might be also included in Tier 2 skins, but usually only 1 of those special features is present (if any). It’s not an official classification – it’s just something we use to differentiate between more basic and premium skins!

New items usually stay in the shop for around 2-3 weeks – sometimes it’s longer (4 or more weeks) and very rarely it’s shorter (a week).
