Shop Update: Classic Pack Bundles, Battlegrounds Season 3 Pass + Cosmetics

It’s Tuesday, so it’s time for another shop update! This one is mostly focused on Battlegrounds, with some Classic card pack bundles also popping up. It looks like more expensive items are still purchasable with both Runestones & real money – an interesting move I noticed last week. That said, the cheap stuff, like single BG skins or Emote pack is only available for Runestones. It actually makes sense and it would be in line with what Blizzard initially said about transaction costs for cheap purchases. Here are all of the new items that are available:

  • Classic Bundle (3000 Runestones or $30) – 40x Classic Card Pack + 3x Random Classic Legendary.
  • Golden Classic Bundle (7000 Runestones or $70) – 20x Golden Classic Pack + 3x Random Golden Classic Legendary.
  • Battlegrounds Season 3 Pass Pre-Purchase (1500 Runestones or $15) – Nomi Bartender & Board unlocked immediately, access to Season Pass (including picking from 4 Hero options) after Season 3 starts in January.
  • Battlegrounds Emotes – Variety Pack (300 Runestones) – Six new Battlegrounds emotes.
  • Winter Veil-themed Battlegrounds Skins (100 & 200 Runestones) – Five new holiday-themed Battlegrounds skins – three of them are available for 200 Runestones and two for 100 Runestones.

Reminder: 100 Runestones = $1, so if something costs e.g. 2000 Runestones it means that it costs $20.

I am going to buy the Classic bundle to get closer to completing the legacy set.

However, I am still missing rares like Nordrassil Druid, Crimson Clergy and War Cache but duplicate protection does not help me to get them.

    Why is that?
