Shop Update: New & Returning Constructed and Battlegrounds Cosmetics, Standard Pack Bundle

Today we just had another shop update! It’s a really big one, although we only have a single new cosmetic bundle, the rest of them are returning ones. It’s called “Winter Veil Bundle” but it has nothing to do with Winter Veil. The skins are really cool, don’t get me wrong, but they have nothing to do with Winter Veil. (I also really want that Aranna, but I certainly won’t get the whole bundle.) Other than that, all of the cosmetics are returning ones. Battlegrounds got a batch of Winter Veil-themed stuff, but again, they were all in the game already. Here are all of the new items that are available this week:

  • Winter Veil Bundle (5000 Runestones or $50) – New Tier 2 Rogue skin + new Tier 2 Demon Hunter skin + 1 Random Signature Legendary from Badlands + 10 Golden Badlands Card Packs.
  • Defiant Rokara (1000 Gold or $7) – Returning Tier 2 Warrior skin. Originally available from a bundle in March 2022.
  • Fishy Finley (1000 Gold or $7) – Returning Tier 2 Paladin skin. Originally available from a bundle in October 2022.
  • Standard Bundle (2000 Runestones or $20) – 2 Random Standard Legendaries + 20 Standard Card Packs.
  • Greatfather Boom (700 Runestones or $7) – Returning Battlegrounds Rare Bartender. Originally available from a bundle in December 2021.
  • Nutcracker King (300 Runestones or $3) – Returning Legendary Battlegrounds skin for Rat King. Originally available as an individual purchase in December 2022.
  • Veil Savior Tess (300 Runestones or $3) – Returning Legendary Battlegrounds skin for Tess Greymane. Originally available as an individual purchase in December 2022.
  • Frostbitten Greybough (200 Runestones or $2) – Returning Epic Battlegrounds skin for Greybough. Originally available as an individual purchase in December 2022.
  • Ice Sculptor Chenvaala (100 Runestones or $1) – Returning Rare Battlegrounds skin for Chenvaala. Originally available from a bundle in June 2022.
  • Rending Winter (500 Runestones or $5) – Returning Legendary Battlegrounds Strike. Originally available as a part of Battlegrounds Season 3 Pass.
  • Iceforge C’thun, Foodie Cookie, Crying Onion (100 Runestones or $1 each) – Returning Battlegrounds emotes. Sadly I couldn’t find information about when they were originally available.

Tier 1 skins are “premium” ones while Tier 2 are more basic. In general, Tier 1 skins tend to include more extra features like completely new emotes, Hero Power animations, and some extra visual effects. Some of those might be also included in Tier 2 skins, but usually only 1 of those special features is present (if any). It’s not an official classification – it’s just something we use to differentiate between more basic and premium skins!

New items usually stay in the shop for around 2-3 weeks – sometimes it’s longer (4 or more weeks) and very rarely it’s shorter (a week).
