Another shop update dropped today! Patch 29.2 just released, so it’s a massive update with lots of new and returning stuff. Season 7 of Battlegrounds launched today so you can get a Battlegrounds Season Pass. On top of that, we have lots of Constructed skins (both new and returning – including a new “Diamond” skin type), multiple Signature Bundles (uh), and two Tavern Ticket bundles are back (you get 1 extra ticket when purchasing 10 and 5 extra tickets for the bundle of 20). Here are all of the new items that are available this week:

  • Battlegrounds Season 7 Pass (1500 Runestones or $15) – New Battlegrounds Season Pass, giving you 4 Hero picks instead of 2 at the start of each game, as well as access to the premium version of the Battlegrounds rewards track.

  • Tavern Ticket Mega Bundle (4000 Runestones or $40) – 25 Tavern Tickets (you can use them to start a new Arena run).

Tier 1 skins are “premium” ones while Tier 2 are more basic. In general, Tier 1 skins tend to include more extra features like completely new emotes, Hero Power animations, and some extra visual effects. Some of those might be also included in Tier 2 skins, but usually only 1 of those special features is present (if any). It’s not an official classification – it’s just something we use to differentiate between more basic and premium skins! Blizzard has added their own “rarities” for Battlegrounds skins, but they haven’t done it so far for Constructed (the only one is Legendary with 3D animated portraits).

New items usually stay in the shop for around 1-2 weeks – sometimes it’s longer (3 or more weeks) but I wouldn’t universally count on that, so if you’re interested in one of them, get them soon.

Lazuul is finally back in the shop but this time with her card back. Problem is, if you bought her already, her status is “owned” and you can’t get the card back.

Any talk on if they are going to make the back accessible to those that bought the hero when she was for sale without the back?

This is the last one I need (other than the special event ones) and its quite frustrating.
