When visiting our deck builder and trying to create a new Standard deck, you might notice that the cards available… aren’t actually from the current Standard format. Don’t worry – it was done on purpose. We’ve already set Year of the Gryphon as the current Standard year to activate much easier theorycrafting. With less than a week until expansion’s launch, players aren’t really focused on building decks from CURRENT meta anymore, but rather try to create something new.
Right now, the list of sets available in our Standard deck builder looks as follows:
- Core Set 2021
- Ashes of Outland
- Scholomance Academy
- Madness at the Darkmoon Faire (+Darkmoon Races)
- Forged in the Barrens
Keep in mind that deck codes still don’t work and won’t work until some time after Patch 20.0 launches. There’s also a much bigger issue with cards from old sets most likely having different codes than Core Set cards, which have different codes than Classic cards… This means that the next few weeks might be really messy when it comes to deck codes, sadly. We’ll try to work on it as soon as Patch launches and we get the necessary info, but please keep that in mind in case something about deck codes doesn’t work.
We’re also working on a Classic deck builder, but it’s hard to say whether it will be available for the format’s launch. We’ll try our best, and it will certainly be available before Forged in the Barrens releases.
