March of the Lich King (And Path of Arthas + Death Knight’s Core Set) Full Card Reveal Schedule – Reveal Season Happens November 7-27

Update: The reveal season is starting tomorrow! We also got a confirmation that the first week will be Neutrals & Death Knight cards. What’s interesting is that this reveal season differs from the previous ones a bit in the way that cards will be revealed in synergistic packages. It’s a good move in my opinion because previously we could get a card that required heavy synergies and it was hard to know whether it will work or not without seeing the rest of the set. Showing the whole package at once makes it much easier to rate cards and theorycraft. Also, there will be no “card dump” on the last day, all of the cards will be revealed through social media/websites/content creators. We’ll see how that goes, but I think it might turn out to be a great reveal season!

Card reveal season is always a very interesting time – we get to slowly learn about new cards, mechanics, make some wild predictions about power levels and so on. However, the actual “reveal seasons” are often changing from expansion to expansion, and this time is no different.

March of the Lich King expansion was announced yesterday, and it’s the first time we’re getting a new class since Demon Hunter was added back in 2020. We also more or less know how long the reveal season will last – while not every reveal might have been announced yet (we always get some last-minute changes, additions etc.), we have pretty firm starting and ending points.

First reveals being on November 7, while the last scheduled one is on November 27 – but that’s Duels-related, the last Constructed cards seem to be revealed on November 26. It’s s till a really long reveal season compared to ~10-14 days we usually had, but at the same time, there are many more cards this time around. The usual 135 cards turns into 145 cards with a new class, and there are also all of the new Death Knight cards from Core Set and Path of Arthas, for a total of 203 cards, 50% more than usual. So a longer reveal season makes sense.

It also looks like the first week will focus mainly on Death Knight. It makes sense given that the class has significantly more cards than others + there’s are Death Knight showmatches planned for November 16-17, so they probably want to have all of the DK cards revealed by then.

Below, you will find the current full reveal schedule – but like I’ve already said, it will probably change a few times over the course of the next couple of weeks. Times listed are in CET (and before US goes to daylight saving time so those are probably also not accurate, all reveals will most likely happen an hour later. I’ll try to update the image after the time change and maybe some other alterations.

Yep, they have a separate reveal for Duels news (new Heroes, treasures) for a few expansions already. This time it will probably be for the Death Knight Hero and maybe something extra 🙂
