Update: Dust values have gone back to old ones. Sorry if you missed it.
Just a quick reminder – patch 22.0.2 was released on December 20, 2 weeks ago. It was a huge balance update, changing a total of 13 cards. Out of those 13, eight cards are eligible for full Dust refunds, since they were nerfed or reworked.
After a card gets nerfed, you can disenchant it for its full crafting cost. The grace period ends 2 weeks after the patch – in this case on January 3 (most likely around 10 AM PT / 19:00 CET, since it’s the regular patch time). Keep in mind that it doesn’t apply to buffed cards.
Here’s a full list of cards you can Dust with the amount of Dust you’ll get for them:
- Celestial Alignment – 400 Regular / 1600 Golden.
- Mo'arg Artificer – 400 Regular / 1600 Golden.
- Touch of the Nathrezim – 100 Regular / 800 Golden
- Runed Mithril Rod – 100 Regular / 800 Golden
- Irondeep Trogg – 100 Regular / 800 Golden
- Alliance Bannerman – 40 Regular / 400 Golden
- Efficient Octo-bot – 40 Regular / 400 Golden
- Snowfall Guardian – 40 Regular / 400 Golden
This time no Legendaries were nerfed – those are usually a source of the biggest Dust spikes. But owning some Golden versions of Common/Rare cards can be a big boost to your Dust total too.
Do keep in mind that some (or in this case most) of those cards still see play, even after the nerfs. However, it shouldn’t be a problem – you can Dust them now and then re-craft them later if you need them (and if you don’t – that’s free Dust in your pocket). If you don’t care about Golden versions, getting rid of the Golden and then crafting a regular one is also a good deal.
