January Ladder Counts For Masters Tour Qualifiers, More Esports News Coming Next Week

Most of the pro Hearthstone players are eagerly waiting for some Hearthstone news. We all knew that there will be no events, no qualifiers and such in December 2020, so many pros have taken a break from ladder (or even Hearthstone in general). We were supposed to get some news about the 2021 schedule soon, and here it is… sort of.

In a usual fashion, Blizzard just pulled “announcement of an announcement”. The only thing we’ve learned that top 32 players from each region in January will get qualified for the next Masters Tour event. It’s likely only one of the ways to qualify, but it gives people incentive to grind the ladder once again. Full schedule should be posted next week. It’s not much, but it’s good to know, I guess.

Means top 32 legend players at the end of the month will get an invitation right? Or once you hit top legend 32?

It is at the end of the month, otherwise it could be around 100 players who hit top 32. 🙂

    Is this exclusive to standard?

No clue yet, but probably yes, since official HS tournaments have been nearly exclusively Standard for years now.
