Hearthstone BlizzCon Schedule 2018 – Next Expansion Announcement?

The BlizzCon schedule for 2018 has been revealed! With the release, we have some interesting Hearthstone stuff to look forward to. This usually leads us to the announcement of the next and final expansion for the year. We’ve usually gotten the announcement of the expansion in the Opening Ceremonies, and then we’ll get a chance to see the “What’s Next” portion of the event where we get a full look at the new Expansion and whatever else is coming soon to the game.

What seems to be missing currently is that there’s no Q&A panel like there normally has been.

BlizzCon Hearthstone Schedule: November 2nd, 2018 (Day 1)

Opening Ceremony

While this isn’t exclusively about Hearthstone, we generally get the first look at the new expansion right here. You’ll want to be sure to be ready at 11am to watch it live!

Hearthstone Global Games Tournament

The HGG eliminations and deciders will be going on during the first day of BlizzCon. You can catch all of the action from 12pm all the way to 9:15pm PST! This is likely going to be broadcast on Twitch or on the actual BlizzCon website.

Hearthstone: What’s Next

This is the big event where we normally get the expansion announcement. It starts at 2:30pm and runs until 3:15pm PST. Last year, Kobolds and Catacombs was announced during this panel. Here’s the official description:

Greetings, travelers! Gather at the inn as the Hearthstone team gives you a look at what’s on the horizon. Then get a guided tour of the latest content directly from the developers.

Hearthstone Streamer Showdown

Some of your favorite streamers will be playing Pictionary apparently and you can watch it live! As far as I know, the names of the streamers that will be participating has not been announced. You can watch this at 5:45pm to 6:30pm PST.

BlizzCon Hearthstone Schedule: November 3rd, 2018 (Day 2)

Hearthstone Global Games Tournament Semifinal & Finals

If you’ve been following the HGG closely then you will no doubt want to catch the thrilling conclusion to the event! It will be running from 9:30am to 3:15pm PST.

Hearthstone: Puzzling Dungeons and Bewitching Hunts

We don’t know much about this panel, but it looks like they’ll be discussing the single-player content that has been created over the recent year. You can check this one out at 4:30pm and it will be running until 5:30pm PST.

The Hearthstone team delves into the past and future of Hearthstone solo adventures.

Artist at Work: Hearthstone – Creating Card Packs

The art of Hearthstone is one of my favorite aspects of the game. If you want to learn more about it, this panel will be for you! It starts at 5:45pm and ends at 6:30pm PST.

Gather ’round as artists from the Hearthstone team show you the creative process behind crafting the card packs for the latest expansion.

Blizzcon happens early in November ever since they took a break in 2012.

I think Triangular may be referring to the fact that the article gives the dates as 2nd and 3rd of October?
