“Delve into Deepholm” Is The Next Hearthstone Mini-Set, Dual Class Cards Are Back, Full Card Reveal Schedule (January 11-16)

That’s pretty unusual. Previously we had to wait a whole day between the mini-set teaser and an actual reveal. But it seems that this time Blizzard decided to try something fresh.

That said, it’s not a “full” reveal yet, that will most likely still come tomorrow in the form of a blog post. However, we learned the name of the upcoming min-set, as well as the reveal schedule. Card reveals will start tomorrow at 10 AM PT (19:00 CET, most likely with the announcement blog post) and continue until January 16, with a weekend break. Given this schedule, I would guess that the mini-set itself is going to drop next Thursday, January 18 (technically January 17 is also possible, but I don’t think we ever had a Hearthstone release on Wednesday).

We also learned that Dual Class cards are back, with the same class pairings we’ve seen back in Festival of Legends. It’s pretty common for the final mini-set of the year to include mechanics from the entire year and not just the final expansion, that’s probably why they decided to bring Dual Class cards back. I also like this choice for the mini-set, because it means that each class is getting twice as many cards to work with, which might be important given that mini-sets don’t add that many cards overall.

Maybe, if you just excavate deep enough, you end up in Deepholm.
