Works best vs aggro decks, you have 10+ spells in the deck, 2 of which discover another. Plus Lyra to generate more.

Pyro into shield into shadow into something. Pyro can clear boards pretty easy vs aggro.

Your trying to draw into your combo cards while keeping the board as small as possible.

Very hard deck to play. I stuck on 5th rank.

That’s one part, but you can also do this with Twilight Drake or your other high health minions if they survive a turn.

If you don’t have Lyra what would be the replacement.

Played the deck in about 15 games thus far. I feel like Shadow Word Death or Dragonfire Potion would be great additions because everybode is playing Corridor Creepers. These Tempo Swing are just ridiculous.
As for Lyra: I like her, she makes lost games winnable again due to rng and also serves to refill your hand with value when empty. She also is a soft taunt.

The reason for not running Shadow Word: Pain or Death is the consistency of Shadow Visions, which is needed for this deck. You want your Combo spells from Visions, not another AoE or Pain/Death.

Inner Fire and Divine Spirit are wonderful tools to enable you to maintain board control. Too many people just go for the big combos and thus losing Tempo along the way. Other decks will just out Tempo you and your Inner Fires and Divine Spirits will help you dictate trades your opponent can make.

Losing Combo spells due to inconsistent Shadow Visions takes away your #1 win condition, though. And that’s why several removal tools are excluded from this list. You can replace Psychic Scream with Dragonfire Potion if you want to, but Scream is by far the better board clear.

So do you often go for the 28 damage combo?

When I can, a lot of the time it works best using acolyte + potion. And then buffing their minion. Really catches them off guard. Also the stormwind gaurd is really handy too.

Why no Silence or Mass Dispel in this deck? Isn’t the taunt wall from Cubelock still a thing? I feel Lyra is not necessary in this deck and Psychic Scream is weird.

Psychic spell can serve as a mass dispel + twisting nether, and twilight acolyte + potion of madness can punish a single void lord.

Voidlord is good for this deck. All you have to do is use Twilight Acolyte to make it into a two attack minion with nine health. Then you steal it with Potion of Madness, make it huge and smack your opponent in the face for the win. Lyra may not be necessary, but she adds a lot of value to the deck. Psychic Scream is the best removal spell in the game.
