So this fight ended up being pretty tough, but I’m glad I got to make use of some of the new Murloc cards. The bosses deck itself isn’t too tough to deal with, but unfortunately since he gets that free card that can be anything every turn, bad RNG can quickly lead to the end of your run.

So the general strategy with this deck is to over run Skelesaurus Hex with Murlocs, hopefully buffing them via either Bloodlust or Anyfin Can Happen for a quick kill. Make sure that when you’re using discoveries you pick the thing that’s best for your situation – it won’t necessarily be the best card overall. When a trap is played it can be one of 3 things – Dart Trap, Bear Trap, and Snake Trap. They are all very easy to test for, and Dart Trap in particular is very easy to play around, which I personally think you should definitely do if you can, as that dart killing off a key minion can be the end of your run.

If you get Sir Finley Mrrgglton early, I would recommend trying to get either Life Tap or Fireblast, as they would be very good for helping you either maintain aggro, or helping get as much value out of your minions as you can. Reinforce would also provide some synergy to an extent, as the Silver Hand Recruits can be buffed, but they wouldn’t necessarily be any better than Shaman Totems.

Mulligan

Sir Finley Mrrgglton is a card you also want to go for. Aside from that, Flametongue Totem is very useful to have early on, as well as any other Murloc that you may draw.

Card Additions

Any and all Murlocs, in order I would say Murloc Warleader, Coldlight Oracle, Murloc Tidecaller and Siltfin Spiritwalker (which is last due to its high cost – if you’re finding you don’t have enough card draw though you can put it higher). A few extra cards for board clear may also help, which can come in the form of Lightning Storm or Forked Lightning.

Cards to Remove

Windspeaker just really doesn’t add a whole lot to this deck, so can definitely be removed. Stormwind Champion can also be taken out, as it will often not be played in a situation where you can make full use of its effect. If you remove these and are looking for something else to get rid of, I’d go with either the Jeweled Scarab or the Elven Archer.
